It was revealed this morning that Red Dead Redemption and Mafia 2 have been pushed back for “polishing”. Both games by the publisher are being looked at as the “next generation” in the era of sandbox games.
Red Dead Redemption now has a release date of May 18 in the US and May 21 in Europe from its original release date next month, while Mafia 2 has yet to been given a new date of release.
Also, other Take-Two titles such as L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3 and Sid Meier’s Civilization V are all planned for release in the fourth fiscal quarter. Which means we won’t see them for at least three months before the date ending October 31, 2010?
