Review

is synonymous with quality and performance, and their latest headsets are no exception. The 7h Fnatic’s feature quality sounds, but at an expensive price. Named after the Professional group Fnatic, these limited edition headsets come designed in the teams colors orange and black. That’s pretty much where they differ from their father the original 7h.

Like the 7h before it the Fnatics are a “closed”-type of headset meaning that it will allow for isolation from the environment, which could be a good thing while you’re gaming . If you like to customize your headsets then you will be happy to know that SteelSeries provides two pair’s of ear cushions. There is a leather type cushion that dons the Fnatics famous orange, and also a cloth-type cushion that comes in all black similar to the ones provided with the 7H.

Lets not forget that the headset comes with an “invisible” microphone basically meaning that it is retractable. I have gotten several compliments on the sound of my voice from family while calling them on Skype. Another interesting feature about this headset is that it  features 50 mm drivers that can give a clean sound at all frequencies, making the 7h Fnatic suitable for any type of listening.

The cable that comes with these headset’s feature gold plated headphone and microphone jacks on one end and a mini USB connected on the other end which goes to the headsets themselves. Also located on this cable right in the middle is a volume rocker and switch that give you the ability to mute your mic

The 7H Fnatic Edition feature the ability to be disassembled into 4 pieces including at each earcup, headband, and the cord, makes it ideal to travel with.

Conclusion

The 7h Fnatic Edition is a great addition to an already amazing line of audio accessories manufactured by SteelSeries. They sound great, and I have noticed that while playing my favorite that they deepen the immersion. This helps provide and overall better gaming experience. The only thing that come to mind is the price. Not a lot of people can afford a $149.99  headset. If you can afford it, and you are looking for a good I highly recommend these.
