Review

has made what has to be undoubtedly the best mid-tower pc case on the market today, they created a case with a futuristic/aggressive design all while keeping it affordable and completely 100% upgradeable for any future add-ons you may want to add. When I got the case today I was literally staring in awe of all the features and the overall design, and size of the case. The case’s design literally demands attention from anyone who sees it. This is a must buy for anyone looking to build an affordable pc or anyone who wishes to upgrade out of the stock case.

The case is completely black, from the inside out which gives it a clean professional look. I did notice however that fingerprints do show up on the outside of the case somewhat, depending on your viewing angle but that’s a minor issue. also took the initiative to paint all the screws for the case jet black, keeping with the design and sleek look of the case. also made the wheels rotatable? I don’t exactly know why they would do that, but again a minor issue for me.

Another thing I found quite odd with the case, is at the top of the case where you can mount an optional 200mm fan, the steel was a bit flimsy. Whenever I pressed it a little it would pop back but it made a twang sound. I don’t know if all the Strom Enforcer cases are like that, but it’s a non-issue. Considering if you ever mounted a fan there the weight would keep the metal flexed downward. designed this case with options for the user in mind.

At the bottom of the case where you mount your PSU, I noticed did something truly innovative; they managed to kill two birds with one stone by using pull screws (Rubber screws that you pull through to secure something). The screws hold in the air-filter under the power supply, and the heads of the screws manage to create an anti-vibration mount for your PSU. My only gripe with this is the air-filter they used, the filter is very course and I’m not too sure how effective it will be in trapping dust from getting into the case. I have never seen something like that before in a mid-tower, the competition can definitely take note from Cooler Masters design of the Storm Enforcer.

Cooler Master did something I have never seen before. The HDD bays can be rotated 90 degrees to allow even longer VGA cards to fit in the case. It also allows you to mount the 2.5” SSD drive bay that was at the bottom of the case, to the top of the 3.5” cage. I recommend doing this so that your PSU can get more breathing room and you give yourself more room for cable management. Personally I don’t like the placement of the2.5” drive bay at the bottom of the case, I would’ve rather they placed another optional mount for a 120mm fan there or maybe a cover to hide the cables coming from your PSU. All in all with all cages equipped the Storm enforcer can handle up to 8 Drives which is extremely impressive.

The front of the Cooler Master Storm Enforcer is incredibly impressive with its futuristic bezel design and swinging door that hides your 5.25” bays and a reset switch. Another great thing Cooler Master did with this case is they made everything in the front of the case tool-less, you literally press two pressure points and the 5.25” bays pop right out, also inside of the bay covers are mesh filters, so even if you don’t use the four 5.25” bays you don’t have to worry about dust finding its way into your case through there. I noticed at least with my case after repeatedly opening and closing the door it became a bit loose, and it wasn’t closing as tight, it’s not really a big issue though. I just wished it stayed a bit more difficult to open like when the case first arrived.

Overall the Cooler Master Storm Enforcer is a must own case for anyone who plans on building a , or for anyone looking for an upgrade out of their current stock case. This case is simply the best in the mid-tower market to date. I highly recommend everyone go out and purchase this case
