Over 1K Story Variations for Mass Effect 3

and it’s team truly have their work cut out for them. When the first launched, no one had any idea at how many choices and outcomes there would be by the third installment. 3 will have over 1,000 different story variations.

Everything that you did and had an effect on from the first two will carry over into .

From CVG, Casey Hudson, who is the project leader of , had this to say,

“…we’d never be able to plan as many creative opportunities if we’d do it all up front. Instead, we record what a player has done in a play-through, and then we have all of those choices available that writers can refer to as they build storylines…

Numerically, it’s over 1,000 variables that we’ll have access to for shaping the Mass Effect 3 experience for people who’ve played the previous games.”

With so many little and big choices that can be made within the Mass Effect universe, it will be very interesting to see how Mass Effect 3 pans out.
