Review
Well, I will say it like this. A lot better than that awful thing called the 2nd movie in the series, and still not as good as the excellent first film in the series. Michael Bay director of the film, seems to have gotten himself under control a bit this time around with the sunsets as they were actually proportionate to how many days actually take place in the film, so that’s good. Other things I really enjoyed about this film? Well, there’s the awesome new girl who makes Megan Fox look like, well, Megan Fox. This new girl is so much better in this series and I think she was a wise choice on Michael Bay‘s part.
Lebeouf is back and better than ever turning in the same performance as he did in the last two films, so at least one thing has stayed consistent. And we finally get to see Optimus Prime be a badass, which is what he should’ve been from day 1. For the parents out there wondering if the kiddies can watch…I will say there is one rather disturbing assassination that takes place that will probably give 12 year olds a nightmare or two wanting to keep a light on for a while, and this time around the robots actually bleed.
I think the action was by far the best in the series, however the two things they still aren’t getting right is the timing, and the comedy. There are way too many comic relief characters involved and way too many characters throwing out one liners. There is too much focus on the comic relief from characters and the story bits with the humans tend to drag on far too long. Clocking in around 2 hrs and 45 min, this film could’ve easily been amazing had he cut it down to 1 hr 45 min. I’m dead serious, he could’ve left out about an hour of comic relief. Seriously.
All in all though, you go to a Transformers film for the action, and this time around doesn’t disappoint. It’s grotesque, its hardcore, its ruthless, violent, and doesn’t hold back. Also, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the film needs to be seen in 3D. There are some rather unbelievable shots that take place that I can’t even imagine seeing any other way. The 3D was excellent and while still nothing is on par with Avatar…this definitely put up a fight and is in a strong 2nd place as of right now. Definitely see the film in 3D. It was shot in 3D, it’s NOT a conversion, and I will admit that Bay seems to have done his homework as far as shooting in 3D. Worth it.
At the end of the day, Good film. I recommend it without question, but definitely eat first, as the first 45 minutes with all the comic relief jibber jabber does tend to feel pretty long in the tooth.
Saving...

I guess I can look forward to a Fanedit of the movie when it’s released on DVD.

Unfortunately, I can not discover the photograph of the phone, but for people who have noticed the movie, what design is it?
Other than a Decepticon army invasion. Look’s so sick. Optimus finally has his super mode from his trailer. The Final Autobot. Armored Nascars, Ferrari, and complete good deal far more that Michael Bay is heading to shock us. So tell me, Prime or Megatron?

I saw this film yesterday and I heard this song probably about halfway throug the movie. I never don’t forget what scene it was but it was a truly great tune and some of the lyrics (I think) were “we have been waiting around on the edge” it was a good slowish variety of song. It Is not the linkin park tune though, it was genuinely great & if anybody knows remember to inform ms

Hi,
Do you know who composed the music for Transformers 3 darkish of moon tv spot trailer. The trailer can be accessed by browsing google or next this website link http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi2339740185/
In phrases of the songs – i suggest the moo moo sound/music that plays while the video clip is operating (sorry moo moo is the closest that I can come)
Again, no one is singing while the trailer is getting played…it’s the tone that I am speaking about (while the video is being played).

The scene where Gibson’s character epps picks up Sam and drives him to Chicago, what’s the car he’s driving? The metallic blue muscle car, looks like an early seventies/late sixties Camaro?
