Grand Theft Auto V Title Update for Xbox One and PlayStation Coming Next Monday

In preparing for next week’s global launch of Grand Theft Auto V on eighth-generation consoles, Rockstar has announced that a Title Update will be made available on November 17th as a means of optimizing key features within the game before launch day.

In Rockstar’s latest News Wire update, the studio addressed fans in stating, “[E]xpect a Title Update to be made available for download on both PS4 and Xbox One by this Monday that will include some last tweaks and optimization fixes for game day. In order to experience the game properly, please make sure you install this Update before playing (like all Title Updates, it will be applied automatically as long as you are connected to the internet).”

“We will be looking closely at your feedback from the initial launch days on the new platforms to help inform other future dynamic tuning changes and Title Updates as always,” Rockstar added. “And get ready for continuing free content Updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, including the highly-anticipated launch of Online Heists (which, to be absolutely clear, will be available for all four consoles to enjoy).”

What’s more, the News Wire post also mentions key features that will be made available in Grand Theft Auto Online on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Whether that is a brand new character creator, the all-new first-person perspective mode, an enhanced options in the creator tool, or increasing the number of players in Freemode, there’s plenty of improvements and additions to keep returning players and newcomers satisfied.

Grand Theft Auto V is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next week on November 18th.
