PlayStation Plus Exploit Gives Free 21 Year Long Memberships

PlayStation Plus. It’s the $50 per year service that gives PlayStation 3 and 4 owners access to free monthly games, online multiplayer, online game save storage and discounts on the PlayStation Store.  But what if you didn’t have to pay for the service? What if you could get the service absolutely free?

Well one PlayStation 4 owner has found a loophole to do just that. In fact, they were able to extend their PlayStation Plus membership through 2035. Now you may be asking how something like that is possible. It turns out that it’s easier than one might think. It takes advantage of an error in the 14-day free trial that Sony extends to all new PlayStation owners. Members are able to continually select the trial until they earn as many free days as they’d like.

The gamer was quoted as saying, “Once you accept the deal, you are allowed to keep extending the 14 free days for free once prompted after confirmation of the free purchase. All you have to do is keep pressing X and you keep getting 14 free days added to your free subscription. The hundreds of email confirmations from Sony all say $0.00”

We have our doubts that Sony will honor this exploit and we encourage our readers to consider avoiding taking advantage of this bug to be on the safe side. In the past, exploits of Xbox Live memberships have resulted in both temporary and permanent bans for the account owners.
