Indie Dev Hopes to Recapture He-Man Nostalgia

“I have the power!” If you grew up in the 80′s, you probably shouted that at some point or another, whether you were a boy or a girl (though if you were a girl, you would probably replace it with “For the Honor of Grayskull“), because He-Man was – animation issues aside – AWESOME.

That’s what indie developer bWWd feels too, and that’s why we now have He-Man, a side-scrolling brawler with a nine-level demo available right now for Windows , , and a slew of other platforms. The game features music, sound effects, and art that feel like they were lifted directly from the series.

There’s word that She-Ra, He-Man‘s sister, may be added to the game once it’s finished and ready for a full release. Try out the demo here, and let us know what you think!
