BlizzCon 2013 | Tickets on Sale April 24 and April 27

Tickets for BlizzCon 2013 will go on sale this month on two seperate days, April 24 and April 27. This time around, BlizzCon will once again be held at the Anaheim Convention Center on November 8 and 9. A Third batch of limited tickets will go on sale on May 1 to an exclusive pre-BlizzCon dinner that will benefit the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, more details on that later.

For those not familiar with BlizzCon, it is a convention for all things, well, Blizzard. BlizzCon 2013 will feature events and discussion panels revolving around the titles WarcraftDiablo, and StarCraft. Over the course of the two day event, attendees will also be able to get hands on time with the latest Blizzard titles.

BlizzCon 2013 will also host the StarCraft II World Championship Series Global Finals. The top StarCraft players in the world will battle it out for the right to be crowned StarCraft II World Champion. Mike Morhaime, CEO and Co-Founder of Blizzard Entertainment says, “We love having the opportunity to hang out with our players at BlizzCon, and it’s always awesome to see the greatest gaming community on earth swarm Anaheim.”

Tickets for BlizzCon 2013 will be priced at $175 USD and will go on sale through the BlizzCon website in two iterations on Wednesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. Pacific time, and the second batch goes on sale Saturday, April 27at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

The limited batch for the pre-BlizzCon dinner will be priced at $500 USD and will include admission to BlizzCon 2013, and an exclusive dinner with Blizzard game developers. The event will take place the evening of November 7 and will offer guests the exclusive opportunity to eat, drink, and lounge about with Blizzard game developers, community managers, and other folks from Blizzard before the show. Approximately 200 tickets to the benefit dinner will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. Pacific time through the BlizzCon website.

Morhaime also said, “We look forward to delivering two full days of gaming, activities, and other entertainment, and we can’t wait to show some of the exciting projects we’ve been working on.”

For those unable to attend the event live, BlizzCon 2013 virtual tickets will also go on sale, but no date has been given yet. Virtual tickets will give viewers access to tons of live streaming events offering a comprehensive amount of coverage for the event from the comfort of your own home. Pricing, event program information, and availability will be announced at a later date.
