Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Arena: Batman vs. Bane

Netherrealm and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released two new videos for Injustice: Gods Among Us promoting their weekly online Battle Arena.

Every week, fans who sign up on the Injustice: Gods Among Us website get a chance to vote in the Battle Arena on the results of one-on-one matchups the game’s makers dream up: hero vs. hero, villain vs. villain, you get the idea. The first two matches were Batman vs. Bane and Wonder Woman vs. Harley Quinn. Fans who voted for the winners get a chance at some free DLC or other prizes, detailed here. One curious tidbit is the DLC that was given out to the first 5,000 to sign up for the promotion, a Green Arrow skin to make him look more like what he does in CW’s TV series Arrow, was limited to PS3 or Xbox 360 users, even though the game is also coming to the Wii U when all three versions launch April 16th. I sent the developers an email asking if the Wii U version will also be getting some of these freebies, but haven’t heard back yet.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game that takes place in a bleak, dystopian future for the DC Comics universe. Five years ago, something went horribly wrong, leading Superman and the rest of the Justice League to take over the world, leaving Batman as the only one brave – or crazy – enough to try and stop them.

First new video is above, second one – featuring Wonder Woman vs. Harley Quinn – is below.
