Capcom Releases Some Details for Upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken For The PS Vita

Set to drop on October 23, 2012,  Capcom is bringing it’s popular mash-up X Tekken, to the  .  Players will now be able to take the action from their homes to now have access to the fights while they are on the go.  Capcom is striving to bring the console action to mobile device.  This tag-team fighter is a great co-op experience that players of all skill levels can enjoy.  Boasting a roster of 55 playable characters from the histories of 2 of greatest franchises.

Players that purchased the original version will receive a free code that will grant access to the 12 new characters  as well as free alternate costumes to the original 38 characters.  This mobile version will encourage players to fight anyone at any time locally, or via 3G or Wi-Fi networks.  Cross-Play functionality gives players online battles that are very similar to the quality of fights that they have become accustomed to on their consoles.  Also, the Platform-Play functionality will allow PS Vita players to have matches with PS3 players.

-55 Playable characters: Original Core Roster with the following additions: Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy and Sakura (Street Fighter) Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson and Lei Wulong (Tekken )

- Chaos: Players can play in 1-4 player battles whether it’s online, local or Wi-Fi Networks or over Cross-Platform with PS3 players.

-PS Vita Exclusive Features include:

Augmented Reality: Pose & Take pictures with any of the characters and insert them into photos.

Front & Rear Touch Panels:   Create extra buttons on the front and rear panels that can allow players to insert moves.  Panels can also be used to access the menus.

KO Monument: Players can collect trophies from defeated players to build a monument to pay tribute to their abilities.

Ad-Hoc Fight Request: This mode will allow players to automatically challenge other Vita players in the area.

This will be a must add for fighting fans that own a PS Vita.
