Skyrim’s Hearthfire Allows You to Make Your Home

Are you tired of buying shady houses in ? Would you rather use your crafty skills to make your own home, one that could be better than any other homestead in all of Skyrim? Or do you just want a place to call your home to settle down in and scream all you want within its halls? If so, Hearthfire is for you: it is Skyrim meets The Sims.

Hearthfire will allow your Dovahkiin to create his or her own home after buying a plot of land. You will have to use materials to craft your house and from that you can make several different rooms such as one for alchemy, one to show off your trophies and you can even start a family if you choose. You can adopt children but this means you will now have to protect your family from the dangers that Skyrim holds. Not like you don’t have anything better to do, right?

Hearthfire will be available starting September 4th for at the price of 400 Points. There is currently no word for a release on  or Ps3.

  1. So i got a new xbox and i did the license transfer to allow me to download all of my DLC on my new xbox. But my old one works, so if my new one breaks somehow, do i still have the DLC on the old xbox? Or do i have to do something special to get it back on that xbox? Are there any other stipulations?

I’m going away for two weeks to my relatives, who have an xbox like I do. I want to use my gamertag and dlc whilst I’m there, and to remove it from their xbox and put it back on mine when I return. What’s the easiest way to do this? I’m very confused as to how to go about doing that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  3. After downloading the DLC, I am unable to access the content as I have no access to the Animus (the last save file is right before Desmond is supposed to pick up the apple). Is there no way to access the content without starting entirely over from scratch? Pushing the map button brings up the same menu as pausing the game.

  4. I want to start playing a DLC I got for Borderlands, but the people whom I play very frequently don’t have it. If I get a weapon or a shield from the DLC, can I still play with them?

  5. Yeah so I went through the original Resident Evil 5 and got every achievement before the dlc was released. I dont want to get versus mode because i heard it sucks and the achievements are annoying. Will getting the new Lost in Nightmares DLC(downloadable content) force me to get those Versus Mode achievements in order to claim having 100% completion again.

It’s all still in my memory, but I had to get a new console. Is it possible to play the dlc without having to re-purchase it?

  9. Bethesda has confirmed that they are unsure if Dawnguard will ever be released onto the Playstation 3 (I think that it will to tell you the truth, they probably just want to surprise people) and I could see them giving us Dawnguard for ten dollars instead of twenty dollars if it ever gets released. The Playstation 3 users eventually got Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, but they didn’t get any of the other bits of downloadable content. So, if they aren’t going to release Dawnguard, then why not just give them Hearthfire? It would be ripping off the Playstation 3 users even further if they refuse to give it to them.

  10. Can two players (with different systems) play Call of duty black ops DLCs together if downloaded off one PSN account?
My friend and I would like to play Ascension together and only one of us have bought the DLC but the other wants to download off the account.. If he does download off my account can we play together or does he also have to buy the DLC?

  11. I was wondering if i should get the dlc but it looked like zombies or something. and can you keep your stuff, is it in the same mojave wasteland?

I don’t care if it’s legal or illegal, but I am tired of these old songs and I want to play the DLC ones really badly. Just tell me any way and I’ll do it.

  13. I just started a new game, and I already have the dlc quests i can do. Is there a best time I should be starting this, like level wise, or can i just start it at lvl 2
