This week SNK Playmore has released two more classic titles from the SNK Arcade library as Playstation Minis which are availab le for the PSP but are also compatable for the Playstation 3.
These SNK minis games are a perfect way for fans of retro-gaming to relive the glory days of some very old school hits. Ranging over a variety of different genres of gaming. Action/Puzzle, Action, Shooting, Platform are all covered in these “retro-arcade emulation” titles from SNK. During the 80′s SNK experienced a golden era of arcade gaming and seems to keep dropping classic titles on the Playstation 3.
The two newest games are Chopper I, where players infiltrates enemy lines to take down enemy vehicles, in a verical scrolling shooter that was originally released in 1988.
The other title that was released this week, was The Next Space, originally released in 1989, this title lets players pilot a spaceship in this vertical scrolling shooter. Players will collect speed and weapon power-ups to take on a plethora of enemies in order to restore peace to the galaxy.
Both these titles, will let players relive a golden era in arcade gaming, or simply have younger players experience some classic titles for the first time, including Athena, Ikari Warriors, Guerrilla War, Street Smart and Vangaurd. In this instance it is very clear that SNK Playmore can find a lot of success with a massive library of great games and being that the titles are only $2.99 each, it really is a steal for gamers.
More information on these titles and other releases from SNK Playmore, can be found on the official Facebook Fan Page.

Is their a ps2 game that has a bunch of the old arcade games like pacman, tetris, space invaders, etc. What is it called i thought it would be fun to play them with my arcade controller.
So far I’ve bought(downloaded) TMNT 1989 arcade game, Double Dragon, and Rush ‘n attack. I’d like to get more games. Any suggestions?
I don’t usually play games, so for some this question would probably sound stupid. I was reading a forum and someone said something about Arcade Games.
What are Arcade Games ?
I’ve been wanting to buy a few arcade games but not sure which ones. What are your suggestions?
I go to the arcade sometimes and there are these old pixel games where you have a gun and you shoot aliens or something on the screen, its 1st person, but your guy moves around for you. What are these games called, and are there any like this I can download for the PC? I’m in the classic arcade mood lately.
Yeah, they usually have more replay value, but arcade games were built just for the game, and are really good.
Ban nintendo,SNK playmore,and Capcom??
I’m thinking about opening a arcade some day and wanted to know if a arcade pays royalties for the arcade games they get? Like, does one pay royalties for Street Fighter 4 to Capcom or to Namco for Tekken 6? Even old school games Street Fighter 2 or House of the Dead 1/2, does the arcade pay royalties for them as well?
They seem to load faster than home console games. Even if a game on my 360 is installed on the hard drive, it still takes longer to load than arcade games.

I found a handful packs of The King of Fighters Trading Card (2000-2001). It contains 5 cards per pack. It says its limited edition and its made by SNK Playmore or SNK Neogeo.(Not Sure) I was hoping to find out what it is or what it was made for. Ive been looking online and haven’t found anything except that the cards inside don’t look anything like the cards i have seen. So If you might know what it is, how much its worth that would be great.

I have MS points on my second account but I want to be able to play the games on my main profile. Can anyone confirm that it is possible? Because some people have said no but I can play BC: Rearmed on a different profile, so it may be different for different arcade games maybe? Help is really appreciated.
King of Fighters XIII is a fighting game produced by SNK Playmore, that is coming out sometime later. It is a very cool looking two dimensional fighting game that makes use of competitive gameplay elements and has a total of 31 playable characters. But, there is question that I need to ask about this game however.
What graphics system did SNK Playmore use for King of Fighters XIII? According to several articles I read, the characters seem hand drawn, crisp, smooth and generally a very updated fighting game models. The backgrounds are very vibrant and there is a lot of detail used to create this game. I intend on getting this game for the PS3. But, I need to know what graphics system SNK Playmore is using to create this game. I just need to know out of pure curiosity, due to the fact that I am active fighting game player.
Thank you for your help and best wishes to all.
I’m looking for people who , like me, loves this wonderful girl,
Let me be pretty clear with you, I DON’T WANT PEOPLE who likes her just for the way she looks, those ARE NOT TRULY fans of hers. I´m looking for people who knows EVERYTHING of Mai, and likes her because they know that she’s by far THE BEST character created by SNK/PLAYMORE. If anyone here wants to know more of Mai-chan (anything) or simply wants to chat with someone of her, I’ll be pleasured. Hope that at least one person here knows that she’s the best and contact me via e-mail. You get it now?….hope so…..Oh the reason that made me ask this is that, I’M TIRED OF THE POOR GUYS WHO INSULT HER WITHOUT ANY REASON!!!!! If we are real fans of her we MUST DO SOMETHING!!!!!
Forgive me if that took you so long, but I had to say it.
Thanks in advance.
I love 80s arcade games. Any help will be appreciated.
The 360 now supports USB storage, but is it only for game saves, or can I buy arcade games and Save it to USB? What about backing up disc games to the USB device?
I’m down to less than 200 MB on my hard drive. I have an old model Xbox and just have the original 15GB hard drive. I bought an 8GB (actually 6.8GB) flash drive today. Will add on content and arcade games run normally if installed on the flash drive? Or should I move my game saves to the flash drive, and install game content on the hard drive?
