With the next generation of computer hardware barreling down on us, Crytek, with the help of EA, have decided to launch a trailer showing us some of the new features that the CryENGINE 3 will have and will be used in Crysis 3.
Crysis 3 is set to be released on the PC sometime next year. We managed to confirm that the PC versions of Crysis 3 will feature DX11. NVidia has already given also confirmed support for 11 with their latest beta drivers.

Crysis 3 – CryEngine 3 Tech Trailer
Is Crysis Warhead just a multi-player game, or does it have the story AND multi-player?
Because the only one I have seen in stores is Crysis Warhead and from what I have heard it is just multi-player, and I don’t care much for multi-player fps’s on my slow internet connection.
Also many places stated that it was an “expansion pack,” so does that mean that I need both? or is it just a sequel?
Are they obsolete?
I am looking to not have to re-install programs, drivers, loose files, etc but would like to be able to try out another release of Windows Vista beta. Also I am an MSDN subscriber so I have ready access to the betas.
Okay well when I try to play SC2 it says my drivers are out of date, which makes sense because in World of warcraft people are black and well, missing graphics that way and it says in the error to that thats the problem. Anyway, i’ve tried Windows update and no dice. Its a Vista Gateway got it nearly half a year ago and seems it hasn’t updated its drivers… please help!
hey i have a Geforce 7600gs and when i install the drivers and restart my screen is corrupted [lines flash across screen] and usually crashes within 5mins. When i uninstall the drivers and just use the card in VGA mode only it works fine. I tried using the newest drivers on the site, the drivers that came with the card, and unrealesed beta drivers. I have windows xp sp2. My system exceeds the minimum requirements for this card. NVDIA is bad on helping people with problems such as this, does any of you have a suggestion?
I’m trying to install the new Nvidia beta drivers specifically released to increase performance / fix specific crashes on battlefield 3. And after downloading the file, when I go to install the driver I get the error, “Nvidia installer cannot continue. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.” I went to the Nvidia site, and couldn’t find anything about it other than that I might have to download the drivers from the site where I purchased my laptop. Only problem is that the beta drivers aren’t listed on the list on downloads that I’m supposed to download. I have double-triple checked that I selected the correct card from the drop down driver list.

I understand what “beat” drivers mean. I understand that they haven’t been officially released. But whenever I play Battlefield 3, I get 10-20 minutes of 60fps high action gameplay, and then Dx11 “runs out of memory.” The card has 1gb of GDDR5, which should be sufficient. I figured that the drivers would be at fault here. It is my understanding that the beta drivers fix issues such as this and increase performance by up to 31%. Why I would not be able to install them simply because they are beta drivers is beyond me.

So I have this problem since 285.62 which it gave me a error after installing the drivers saying that it fail the install and only installed the graphics controller(don’t know how it’s name in the english version)
the 3d options and the others stuff error, couldn’t access the control panel, in Batman Arkham Asylum when I turn the physx on it says that my system doesn’t support it but i had it turn it on before i installed this drivers and no problems what so ever, so i try to change to the beta drivers i had before(the battlefield ones) and give me the same error, but i lead it slide but now when the 285.79 came out i installed the drivers and it still gives the same error, anyone know how to fix it?basically i have no drivers like this, i already updated my bios, clean the errors with ccleaner and desfragmented and nothing, can someone help me here?
btw my graphics card is a Geforce 260 GTX 896mb
Where can I find such a driver? I tried the beta drivers from ATI, but it only works from 9500 model.

i got a copy of the xp pro sp3 and i was wondering if vista hardware drivers will work on it. my brother ask me to put xp on his vista laptop and i got everything to work but the Ethernet card and the wireless card to work cause the drivers were only made for vista.
I downloaded both of the video card drivers they said I should download (the RAGE performance driver and the beta driver) but it’s still so slow. I’ve made a rageconfig file and changed the settings, but that didn’t do anything at all. What should I do?

Ok uncharted 2 is currently the king of graphics on the ps3 and everybody says it looks nice but then when you compare it to crysis everybody says it looks like shit compared to crysis. Is this true? Does crysis really look so much better then uncharted 2?
I want to downgrade to windows xp pro or windows ME beta but I want to do it in a way were i don’t lose everything I installed games apps drivers ect. Will windows ME work on a machine with a dual core cpu and 2gb of ram and a lightscribe dvd burner the machine also has a nvidia gefore 8200m g.
I have looked up beta drivers, but I can’t find one thats the newest beta. I have the best released driver, but it keeps messing up in games. I had a beta driver before that worked great, but I can’t find it again. So, where can I get the newest beta driver?
I’m not sure how to check what graphics card I have but i scanned for a driver on Nvidia and they gave me http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_notebook_winvista_win7_179.48_beta.html and after a day or so my pc started crashing and after loading the windows screen it would only display vertical lines but it could be loaded from safe mode but it would display hundreds of discolored spots all over the screen and after uninstalling the graphics driver it fixed it self and everything started working propperly but i cant play video games without a driver =(.
I downloaded and installed Battlefield 3 Beta on my Asus G74sx and I keep getting the messe when trying to play. “Detected NVidia driver version 268.37; minimum version 285.27 Please update drivers before playing the game.” How can I solve this problem?
So, I got an m14x Alienware laptop last year, and I’ve looooved it so far.
The only problem is, Dell doesn’t want me to download other drivers. They want me to ONLY download their drivers off THEIR website.
Which is dumb, because one game I’ve been dying to play (Guild Wars 2) recommends an NVidia driver (304.79 BETA)

I got all the way to the NVidia installer until it said…
“NVIDIA Installer cannot continue”
“This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware”
Which I’m assuming is wrong, because I have a 555, and the driver details say they support the 500 series.
Does anyone have an Alienware laptop and/or know how to install outside drivers like this to an m14x? I would GREATLY appreciate any advice. Even a link to a website of someone else explaining it lol i dont care… i just hate to see my 555 go to waste on these Dell drivers :/
Just warning you, this will be a little lengthy. But I”m doing that to provide enough detail of the problem so I can find the correct solution.
So I have had an iPod for about three years, and iTunes has always worked perfectly. In October I got an iPod Touch 2nd Generation, I used to have an iPod nano 4th generation. Even with the ipod touch, itunes work perfectly. I used to update itunes every time a new version would come out, and that always ran smoothly. But up until about a month ago, possibly a little more, iTunes will not download into the next version. The newest version is 10.4, and that’s wont it won’t update to. When I clicked the button to download the latest version, it would install part way, then i received a notice that said “Can not access network location %AppData%” which is also known as error 1606. I retried over and over again, but kept getting the same message. When I finally canceled, another message appeared that says “iTunes cannot download because QuickTime was not installed. iTunes requires QuickTime” or something like that. THis has been happening over and over again.
Being not very happy with this, I went online to the Apple Support center, and basically found my exact problem. I then followed the exact instructions on how to fix this. Apple instructed me to UNINSTALL and DELETE all traces of itunes, including Bonjour, Apple Software Update, QuickTime, and a few others. So I did exactly that, in the correct order. I was then supposed to double check the files we gone, which I did and they were, then restart my computer. Following that, I had to download the newest version of iTunes. Once specifically checking to make sure iTunes AND QuickTime would be installed, i began. The same exact proccess occured, only downloading part way. The SAME EXACT message appeared. I again kept retrying. No luck. iTunes was gone from my computer.
My next plan was to search this problem online. Many solutions were to use something called Microsoft Fixit. This was supposed to take care of this problem. I used it, restarted my computer, tried to download iTunes, but the same thing happened!!!!
Another solution I tried was deleting these folders called Temp folders. No idea what that is, but I would try anything. I went through and did all of that, then again tried to download iTunes. I still got the same error/message.
My last resort was a suggestion from my Grandfather. A computer System Restore. I selected a date before any of this occured and I still had iTunes. The restore occured, and it appeared that iTunes was back on my computer. However, when I clicked on the link, a messge appeared that said something like “Some components on iTunes are not installed. Please install iTunes.” WHAT?! I had just done a system restore to a date where iTunes was working! I checked my folders, and all of the components of iTunes I had previously uninstalled were on my computer. I had no idea what to do. I even separately installed the latest version of QuickTime, then tried downloading iTues once more. I still got the same error and message saying QuickTime was not installed, even though I just installed it.
I have no solutions left. I have tried everything, I’ve been sitting at my computer for hours trying ot figure out what to do. I now have no iTunes, a dying iPod, no way to charge it, and probably about $400 bucks worth of hardware and software (iPod and music/apps) staring me in the face. iTunes is gone from my computer and I can’t seem to get it back. As you can see, I’ve tried everything, and as you can see, nothing works. Thank you for taking the insane amount of time it took to read this, but I hope someone out there has an answer.
I want to record some crysis videos at very high quality. My computer passes the minimum requirements, but I can only get like 6 fps at very high. How do I make it so that the recorded video plays back at normal speed and at 30 fps, without buying a new computer?
I got guild wars 2 on the headstart and when i logged in it said i should download the nvidia beta driver 304.79 or else i could crash and have graphical issues. I was playing fine without it but then it got buggy and i crashed alot so i thought i should download it. When i downloaded it everything was fine but right before it installed it said looking for compatible hardware. It cannot find any compatible hardware even though i have a geforce gtx 550 ti which on the nvidias sight said that it was compatible with. Can anyone please help me. Anytime I try to link something in chat in gw2 i crash and i have alot of really shaky graphical issues. If you have any idea on how to install the driver please help.
It’s a theory that addresses the rate at which new hardware is created or something along the lines of “the faster they get, the faster the next generation emerges” or similar. I have been racking my brain trying to figure this one out for the last couple of days but can’t remember anything more specific other than I think it’s named after a person.

I have the Lenovo Y580 and currently use the 304.79 beta drivers and when i go to the windows experience index, I get a score of 6.8, but when i look online people with the same laptop as me get a 7.2?
