Dead or Alive Day

On August 6th, TECMO KOEI America threw down their newest cover art for their latest installment, Dead or Alive 5. Set to launch September 25, 2012 DOA5 features the return of the world’s greatest fighters such as Hayabusa, Hitomi, Ayane and for the first time (in a very long time), Akira, from Virtua Figther and even more!

With stunning new locations and brilliant styles of martial arts techniques the newest saga in DOA history is about to begin. Famous for its visuals, this title’s stages change drastically as fighter’s progress on in their ruthless battle. Yeah, we’re used to switching things up and going from one section of a level to another, but as “DOA Day” comes ever closer, it’s going to be known that this game is going to be one of the “greatest” and most “intense in the fighting series”.

PlayStation 3 Cover Art

If you’re a big fan of the series as well as pre-ordering your games, then the GameStop exclusive Collector’s Edition is straight up your alley featuring in-game items for all fans such as swimsuits for the female fighters. Not only does the Collector’s Edition come with in-game items for everyone, but it also comes with a steel case to harness the power of what’s inside. At a price of $59.99 for the regular edition and $79.99 for the Collector’s Edition, Dead or Alive 5 is starting the fight off strong. For any avid fan of the franchise the $20 dollar price difference between the two editions is definitely worth the price. Created by Team NINJA and published by TECMO KOIE America for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and dropping in stores on September 25th, 2012. Think you’re ready?
