Google has become somewhat a super entity taking on the corporations that have monopolized their respective industries. The internet mogul has now set their cross hairs on the Internet Service Provider (ISP) market.
This new type of internet they’re planning to offer is codenamed ‘Google Fiber’. Google Fiber is aiming to deliver connection speeds 100 times faster than today’s average broadband. This means instant downloads and crystal clear HDTV.
Back in March when rumors begin to surface of Google planning an ISP service I completely ignored them. I doubted Google could replace the service I have with Comcast, but after looking at these plans and some of the perks I’d get with signing up, I’m really considering jumping ship. Check these plans out.
Google is literally throwing everything at you including the kitchen sink. I still have a few concerns about whether I can use 3rd party equipment with their service but until it comes to my area I’ll just have to wait and see.

I have Comcast and I can’t get to my emails. It takes me to my home page and I click sign in and it flips my page back to the home page. Talked to comcast they don’t know; so long story short I want to use my yahoo email only. Just don’t know how to forward my emails.Thanks for the help.

My brother has another service and his tvs without boxes that are hooked directly to a cable wire are fine today also. Work recently “upgraded” our software and nobody, including the IT department, can download and install programs. I had previously used google sync quite happily to merge my work and personal calendars and view both at work and on my iphone. Is there any way to get this functionality without google sync?
I just bought a jumbo remote and I’m having trouble installing it to work with my comcast cable box. I followed the instructions and apparently I installed it correctly, but the only button that the comcast box will follow is the “0″ button.
Is it even possible to use another universal remote with a comcast box or do you have to use the remote they give you?

I have cable and internet through Comcast and I’m paying $102/month. I read that to get them to lower your bill, customers have called Comcast to cancel and switch to a competitor and gotten a better price in exchange. Recently, I have misplaced my comcast remote, and cannot find it at all. Until I can head out to Comcast to get a new one (does comcast charge for a spare?), I am going to borrow an extra comcast remote that a family friend has.
How do you program a comcast remote to control a cable box? I figure that I’ll need to reprogram it to work with my box, but I just don’t know how. All I find are videos and tutorials on how to program the TV, but not the cable box.
As many of you know late last year Comcast went all digital. I kept the 15-30 Comcast Basic Cable channels, (local broadcast TV stations, plus local government, education and public access channels) but I lost all Expanded Basic channels, like Disney, CNN, Lifetime and 30 to 50 others.
My question is, is there a cable box
I can buy, say on ebay, that will get me these channels again?

My friend and I just heard the comcast commercial where the people are singing in a somewhat monotone. Could somebody tell me the lyrics to the one where it is talking about all the different things comcast has to offer?
We get two ABC affiliates on Comcast Digital Cable, but one just goes blue after 6:00 PM Eastern time. However, the guide still lists shows on the channel, and the built-in DVR records shows on that channel by default. Is there any way to delete channels from the guide?
We ordered Comcast Digital voice in July to replace our land line, and all through August we’ve had numerous problems with disconnections. We want out. However, we do enjoy their Cable TV and Internet service. Digital Voice however, is not what we expected and we want to cancel our subscription. I assume we return the router back to the service office. My main question is: can we just switch to our new provider without any disconnection fees?

I just got a motorola cliq and have seen articles all over advertising the new update to google maps allowing navigation but when i go to google mobile it says to access the android market through my phone and download the latest google maps but when i do that google maps does not appear in the market. Is this becuase i am not on the Droid or is there some other problem that is not allowing me to find this new update?
