The Final Production Blog for The Hobbit is Here

It feels like only yesterday when I stumbled across these production blogs for and now they’re coming to an end. I really don’t know what to say about these videos that show the amount of work, and comradery it takes when making a .

Witnessing the production process unfold really has me at a loss for words. I don’t know if its Peter Jacksons enthusiasm or the cast somewhat knowing each other and lovingly pulling pranks on each other. But something about it seems almost unreal.

The video below is the final entry for the Production Blog for The Hobbit, but it won’t be the last I feel. Peter hinted at their being some Post-Production video blogs of The Hobbit, and the film being of a …Maybe.

    What was so special about Bilbo? Was there some sort of prophecy concerning a Hobbit recovering the Ring?

    I have to create an elven character for an English assignment.
    We are to include an age, weight, and height that are accurate according to J.R.R.Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”.
    What would be the range for appropriate characteristics?

    im pretty sure it was made in the early 90′s and took place in NYC. but its about 2 kids finding a hole under a bridge where a hobbit with a green thumb lives.

    I have this project where I had to read The Hobbit and make an advertisment for the movie. I picked Bruce Spence to play Gandalf but I don’t know who could play Bilbo. Any ideas?

    I am trying to get my boyfriend to read more so I gave him The Hobbit. He loves it and so now I am trying to find more books like that. Ones with plenty of adventure, travel, and not set in modern day (his 3 favorite things about the hobbit) I need reccomendations! Nothing to hard to read though please*

    Is the book good? I’ve heard good things about it. Do I need to read the prequel The Hobbit which came out in the 1930′s in order to understand it? I loved the book Eragon and Harry Potter, would you recommend Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit? Any information would be helpful.

    You know like Peter Jackson’s just made the Hobbit? Does anyone know if he’s planning to make ‘The Children of Hurin’, which was another middle earth book into a film?
