Talk about beautiful. Recently a YouTube member by the name of ‘aimedehaire’ (aka icelaglace or Hayssam K) has been uploading Tech Demos of a brand new version of DirectX 11 (DX11).
Mr. Aimedehaire is a Skyrim Modder whose dabbled in making mods for GTA IV. The Tech Demo uses real-time Raytracing, which has been the bane of every graphical whore’s existence. The Demo is running on a relatively decent PC featuring an i7 Intel processor and a Radeon 5870.
Unfortunately, he hasn’t shared much information regarding how he managed to acquire or even make this Tech Demo in the video, but one thing is for certain: the next generation of PC games is going to be simply amazing.

I have some pre-installed trailers already on my toshiba qosmio x770 and they are great. I’ve downloaded the nividia 3d player. How do I watch ‘ordinary’ movies in 3d? The trailers are just split vertically in half when 3d is off. How do I do this for other movies?
I just watched My Bloody Valentine 3d with the typical green and red 3d glasses. It didn’t look so good ( which I expected) and I wanted to know if there are any better 3d glasses to use for these movies so that you can enjoy them. I went to imax and the 3d movie there looked nicer, I am not sure if it was the 3d glasses or just the over all quality of the movie and the glasses put together. Thanks!
What is the best 3d scanner at a reasonable price? NextEngine is a bit expensive. Is there any other 3d scanners aside from nextengine?
I’ve read that the brain can calculate 3D by taking two images from two eyes and comparing them. However, 3D works perfectly fine with one eye. Surely this “Binocular vision” is pointless if the brain can calculate 3D perfectly fine with one eye.
Does the brain just guess or is there some other trick involved? I notice eyes individually focus. So the brain could calculate the amount of blur and work out the distance that way?
i’m planning to watch the last Harry Potter in 3D and for some reason this is my first ever 3D film. i wear glasses and i was wondering if the 3D glasses would work.
1. For some reason when I access the transparency page in the 3D Canvas site, it redirects to Yahoo. Can any 3D modelers help me out for transparency for spoke gaps for steam locomotive wheels?
2. How to bend objects to form a curve because I need a steam locomotive top cab to be curved.
If I have a 3D projector, appropriate glasses and a screen, what else do I need to watch 3D material?
Only a 3D Blu-ray player with a USB port from which I can play my movies?
There is a lot of hype today about TV’s & Projectors that claim to give cinema quality 3D pictures. How true is this? Will watching it on Tv will be as good as watching a 3D movie in a cinema?
I am very serious about making movies and although I have made some good movies using After Effects and all, I’m ready to expand my knowledge and get into animation. I’ve heard of a bunch of 3D Programs such as Milkshape and Autodesk 3D Max. What’s the best stuff available for a budget under $1000?
A friend told me about Cinema 3D since he bought it recently. What is the best feature of this product? I don’t want to look like a fool when I visit him next week because I don’t know anything about Cinema 3D.
If I put red and blue dots to create a 3D effect on a mirror, and looked into it with 3D glasses, would the appearance of myself and others appear 3D as well? If not, what could I put onto a mirror to make it’s image 3D?
Not looking to spend $150/pair on glasses. Don’t suppose I can hope the “free” glasses from the 3D movies @ the theater will work?
I have to make animals in 3D form. How can I achieve that?
Using pictures and having it pop up won’t work.
I am planning to add a 3d effect on my future designs, what 3d software can you recommend that will work well also with adobe products?
I’m Brazilian and I’m planning to attend a 3D bachelor course in one of the best schools around. The problem is, I don’t really know which one yet!
Can someone give me some help?
Hi I am looking for 3d modeling software able to achieve results like zbrush or 3dmax but easy enough for a 12 year old to use, I don’t care about cost at the moment just very curious what software is out there.
Thanks.
Several years ago, I saw an action movie with dinosaurs in it. I do not remember anything about the plot. It was in 3D. It might have been Jurassic Park III, but I can’t find anything about it being released in 3D. Have there been any dinosaur movies in 3D released in the last 8 years?
I have the Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W3 camera. Is it possible I can print the 3D photos myself somehow, a special printer or just buy special lenticular paper or put sheets over top of the prints?
Or is the only way to have it done, to mail it in and pay to have it printed by Fujifilm?
For instance, I got Coraline for Christmas, which I discovered was shot in the red/blue format and the shutter glasses I have do not work with it.
I have a Panasonic Viera 3d tv. Also, do I need to set my tv to 3d in order to watch? When I did that, it seemed to intensify the ghosting I saw on the screen. Will my 3d blue ray player only work on a 3d tv?
I have become very interested in animation and want to get into it. What is the best 3D animating software that is perfect for a beginner. Any feedback helps thanks.
