We’ve been reporting on the Diablo-esque adventure game, Heroes of Ruin, for the 3DS for a while now and now the game has finally launched.
Heroes of Ruin marks the first dungeon exploration adventure game for the handheld and one of the only games, if not, the only one of it’s kind on any Nintendo handheld. While other previous iterations of their mobile line have been limited by the hardware choices, the 3DS is more than capable of providing a good base for this style of game.
The 3DS game contains a lot of features that you’d find on a lot of fully featured PC titles of this genre like co-op multiplayer, where players can raid dungeons and help each other to complete quests. Players also have total control of their character’s physical appearance. Players with the same character could style them completely differently so that no two characters look the same. Players can also trade weapons, items and other power-ups to ensure that every player is prepped for the ensuing battles.
The Square Enix published game is rated Teen and is on retail store shelves for $39.99.
This game could have been so much better.
who else besides me thinks that guitar hero ruined excellent songs ( and bands)?
i know music is music, and any music that i listened to before that was unpopular and is now overplayed everywhere is exactly the same, but come on. its just not the same to listen to certain bands anymore.
for example, i listened to dragonforce 2 – 2 1/2 years before gh3 came out, and noone knew who the band was and they said i was weird for listening to power metal. now, dragonforce is one of the most famous bands because of their notoriously hard song on guitar hero.
honestly, hasn’t guitar hero ruined music altogether?
If people spent half the time they spent playing guitar hero playing real guitar, they would be amazing.

Is it legal to create content for a commercial game using Autodesk 3DS Max on a public computer, or do I have to buy the software or some sort of license?

According to Nintendo the new 3DS update featuring the long-awaited browser and eshop was released today. I, however, am having trouble updating. Whenever I try to update it says my 3DS is already up to date, and the settings just closes. I was wondering if any of you have had any success?

I’m looking forward to buying the nintendo 3ds when it comes out especially because of the promotional sale (discount for trading in old ds) i was wondering is this sale only for the first day it comes out or for a few days… I do not want to have to go the very day it comes out… So, it’d be great if you let me know.

From the news of AK2i,i know they will released a new AK2i for 3DS specially,,it was said that,the new card doesn’t need any optional update,that’s the big difference with Acekard 2i 3DS .By the way, i see there still have a card called,Acekard3,can it for 3DS as well ? Thanks.

I am taking an animation course in school with 3DS max. I am using reactor physics and ragdolls in the animation, but, in the preview animation box there is only one box to select which frame to activate physics. I need to have the 3 ragdolls activate one at a time while the others are still being animated, but, so far, I can only get them to all “ragdoll” at the same time. Can anyone help me out here?
