This is a weekly segment where we share what games we are currently playing for our readers to get to know us a bit better. Said games can range from retro to current and from casual to FPS games. If we’re playing it, we’ll share it. Please feel free to comment with what you’re playing or your opinions on the games that we’re involved with.
Greg: I finished my Mass Effect Trilogy run, all three games back to back to back. So good. I do appreciate the extended ending of 3. So much fun, though. Highly recommended.
Luis: I’ve been messing about and have been all over the place as of late. Still on my journey to platinum Uncharted 3 and have done quite a bit of mobile gaming. Picked up Amazing Alex from the folks over at Rovio who developed Angry Birds. It’s a fun chain reaction game where the goal is to collect stars during the chain reaction. Some Plants Vs. Zombies among other games were played. The highlight of the week had to be The Sims 3. Matt and another friend came over my house and we created a sim who had one mission. His goal was to sleep with every female sim (of age) in The Sims 3. Also never get a job and somehow survive. So far he’s got a baby sim (or two) and he’s slept with the maid! Oh, and a few thousand bucks somehow.
Matthew: Fibble HD for iOS. It’s a cool little game where you use physicals to guide a little rolling ball-creature to a goal point while attempting to collect as many gold coins and stars as possible. It’s the first game to use the cryengine on iOS and features real time cinematics. It works on iPhone and iPad.
Jen: On the casual gaming side of things, I played some Bejeweled 3 and Hexic HD. I mainly played them both to try to fall asleep. Seeing footage on Transformers Fall of Cybertron, I got the urge to play War of Cybertron again. Its still a lot of fun and I can’t wait to play the sequel. Also played the usual, SWTOR.
Ben: This week was still all about Dragon’s Dogma. It’s pretty much an open world Monster Hunter game, and that’s a fantastic thing. I’ve been able to avoid the tempting Steam sale in part because of its chimera killing goodness.
Chris: Been splitting time between Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. Two completely different fighting titles but fun ways to keep the competitive juices flowing if only for a few minutes or longer chunks of time. Also started a campaign in one my favorite RPGs ever, in the beginning stages of Konami‘s Suikoden, such a deep RPG with a huge cast of characters and a fun story.
Jeff: With The Dark Knight Rises coming very soon, my week has been all about films, but that doesn’t mean that I couldn’t find a few hours for Metroid Prime 3. I’ve also been playing Kings Corners, a solitaire variant available for free on the App Store.
This game can be kind of hard. One person starts with a word and the next person comes up with a word that goes with the next word. The person uses that word to make the next one. You are not allowed to add any letters to the previous word. You have to use it as it is.
Example:
Person 1 – Free
Person 2 – Free Parking
Person 3 – Parking Garage
Person 4 – Garage Band
Person 5 – Band Aid

Both are awesome, both are talented, both are hot..umm, i mean both are great in the ring. Though, they are a long way off from being TNA World Champ, heck, haven’t even won Tag Titles yet. Though the amazing Alex Shelley recently won the X-Division Title.

i want a list of some games that are online fps, and that are high in graphics.
How do I reduce lag in FPS games, I play Genesis A.D and Wolfteam and when I play 10 minutes into the game it lags like hell, even when theres no one in the room it still lags.

OK my ex dumped me in July and shes 15 and I’m 16 and its been 7 months but thenshe comes to me right after she splits with her new bf and i love her a lot even though i am young my feelings for her are very strong.so she invites me over to hangout with her and her girlfriend(friend)and she tries to make me jealous and whatnot and i just left and didn’t look back.but she sends me a text a week later saying I’m thinking of you and i want to hangout with you so i can prove it.And she said she didn’t want a relationship and she only wanted to do sexual things.so i try to hangout with her and she keeps blowing me off. then today she says i don’t think we should ever see each other and she said.I’m done talking to you BYE, but shes said that plenty of times before..IT turns out she found out i’m sleeping with other girls it was a girl she knows.BUT STILL i said your just playing with my head anyway i deserve better.then she says no i deserve better you lie to me and she told me to **** off and she said shes hurt. And i asked her what does any of this matter if you only wanted to use me and you didn’t want a relationship anyway? so i just told her how i felt that i have strong feelings for her and i miss her and i haven’t head from her since and that was two weeks ago.she has been in Mexico for 9 days but apparently she just got back and i heard she uploaded new photos because my dad is friends with her mom and he told me to not bother with because i am wasting my time and i should just ignore her. and she hasn’t contacted me yet.is she gonna contact me again?

hi, well its a game where there are dots that move around slowly. you click on the screen and a dot will show up and expand. then, the dots that are moving will hit it and they will inflate too to create a chain reaction. do you know what this is called?
I used to always play this physics/chain reaction/rube goldberg game online. The website it was on had a weird name and the objective of the game was to get a ball to the goal. You would have to use blocks that were given to you to complete the course and there were blocks that were tesla coils, blocks that would heat up, turbines, steam powered things. The game was very elaborate but I cannot remember the name of the website. I am going crazy so please help

Finishing on such a high note, achieved everything he could in one year, great success in his spell, best manager around or will he miss it so much and stay on for another couple of years. It would be an amazing final curtain call to finish with all trophies in the bag. What do you think? And would it be the same if we still won the quadruple (no champions league?)

okay, i’m only 15 years old. and i know im young. but in the past, ive had many boyfriends but never really fell for them. my longest relationship was about a month. when i was in 8th grade, i had the biggest crush on this kid. my crush lasted through the entire year, the summer, and my freshman year. ive been very good friends with his twin sister for a while too, so of course she told him that i liked him. anyway, last year on the 4th of july, the kid i had a crush on asked me to go for a walk with him. and i did. we wound up kissing and have been together ever since. i fell so deeply in love with him. he was my everything. he meant the world to me. he wasnt like your typical guy. he wasnt the type to just look to get with somebody. he wasnt a horny boy. he was sweet, caring, and loving. i spent all my time with him. i gave up everything for him. after 6 months, i lost my virginity to him. that made me even closer to him than before. i was on a deeper level of connection than before. we did argue a lot too. and he would get mad at me for stupid reasons. and yeah, he did treat me like crap sometimes. people would question why i still go out with him if he treats me like that, but, i loved him anyway. no matter what he did to me, i would still love him with all my heart. i thought i found the “one”. although im still young, i thought i found my soul mate. he was perfect to me. one day, we got in a stupid arguement over a sporting event. so instead of going to his house on that friday night, i went out with my mom instead. and he went to the movies with his friends. on saturday, i went to his house and he was acting really different. he sat me down and said that he was too young to be “tied down” and he should be out “playing the field” i was shocked.we were together for nine months and we were ABSOLUTELY FINE, the day before. as he was talking to me, i cried like a baby. i couldnt imagine losing him. he said that his feelings for me were going down. we didnt break up though. when i got home, he called me and said “i think the reason why i didnt break up with you was because you were crying and i felt bad” he put me through a rollercoaster of emotions. one minute he wanted me as a girlfriend, the next minute he didnt wanna be tied down. a few days later in school, he told me that he wanted to take a break. just a short amount of time without eachother. i was a wreck during this time. it was impossible for me not to show up at his locker, or not call him, text him, talk to him, ect. he called me on the phone that night and told me that the reason why he was feeling this way was because when he went to the movies that friday night, he met a girl that he thought was cute and she had a crush on him. he didnt do anything with her, but knowing the fact that a “cute” girl liked him, made him realize that he shouldnt be tied down. the next day, we broke up. it was the day before spring break. that entire spring break, i spent crying my eyes out. i missed him soo much. i missed him more than anything in the world and i would kill to have him back. we went out for nine months. and i was so in love with him. and he acts like i dont exist anymore. 9 months of being sooooooooooo close to somebody, and then one day they just decide that they want nothing to do with you anymore. he doesnt talk to me, say hi to me, anything. deep down, i know that i’m the one who’s too good for him, but i cant help but to miss him and want him back. i cant believe that you can go nine whole months of being best friends, texting all the time, talking on the phone all the time, hanging out every day, and eveyrthing, to just acting like i dont exist to him anymore. it doesnt make sense to me. if he loved me as much as he said he did, how could he just forget about me so fast? we broke up over a month ago and i STILL cry over him. it hurts. because the person who means the most to me, is the person who i mean nothing to. i dont know how to deal with this pain. i miss him so much that it hurts. please help.. i know im 15 but i thought id marry the kid some day. i still love him. and i dont know what to do.
Ever since 2000, its been like whats the point of being a Heat fan? I mean in 2000-2003, I watched alot of games even though the team wasn’t exactly of good quality (translation: we sucked). And people would let you know. We made the playoffs, but got swept by the Charlotte Hornets. After D Wade got drafted, and we started the season 0-7. I said I was proud to be a Heat fan and you know what I got? “You guys suck.” Then, the Heat started winning and we made the playoffs. “Nobody cares.” We beat the Hornets in 7 games but lost to the Pacers in 6. I didnt care cuz the future looked bright. I just didnt know what was coming.
We got Shaq, and when I said I was a Heat fan then: “Bandwagoner!” WTF? Didnt we just suck? Then you didnt care? Now that we might win Im a bandwagoner? Then we lost to the Pistons in the ECF. “Ha, you guys suck.” Then we only won 52 game. “Ha, Shaq aint gonna win all shit” We win, Im a Heat fan. “Bandwagoner.” WTF? I been a Heat fan most my life, and you gonna tell me what I am?
07- Swept by Bulls (I watch in disbelief) “You suck.”
08- Shaq traded, miss playoffs (I watch a handful of D-League players people should never hear of play for my team. We win 15 games. Im a proud Heat fan.) “You guys REALLY suck.”
09-10- D Wade is officially back! “Wow, you guys only have Dwyane Wade, youre a Wade fan not a Heat fan!”
June 2010- Im talking on answers about maybe getting Chris Bosh or Boozer to play with Wade, nobody pays me any mind. They simply dont care.
July 9 2010- I come on answers to discuss what the Heat might do next, and its 15 times worse than it was in 2006. WTF? Why not accuse the Thunder, Laker, or Magic fans? Why now all of a sudden, all us real Heat fans that suffered the past 4 years cant get our hopes and dreams up, like any other team?
