Welcome back, True Believers! We have a couple very notable comics for you, namely The Walking Dead #100 and Uncanny X-Force #27. For the full lowdown on The Walking Dead, check my review here. The short version is: well written, but I didn’t like it. Didn’t think I was supposed to, though.
On the other hand, Uncanny X-Force IS a great issue, I loved it a great deal, despite a notable similarity with The Walking Dead. This is part 3 of the Final Execution arc. This is a really well written, tragic and emotional issue. I supposed it’s redundant to say, but Remender is a heck of a writer. The new Brotherhood of Evil is targeting the X-Force, and our good guys are faced with enemies who know their every move, knows what makes them tick. Also, they’ve kidnapped Evan (Kid Apocalypse). Final Execution is shaping up to be one amazing story, and I can’t wait for the next issue, and it looks like we’re in it for the long haul, Remender has said it’s a ten-part arc. Similar to The Dark Angel Saga. Make sure you stay tuned to Uncanny X-Force (as always).
Next we have Avengers VS X-Men VERSUS #4. This issue features Psylocke VS Daredevil and Thor VS Phoenix-Emma. This was a fun one, especially the first fight. Psylocke and Daredevil are about evenly matched, and both are ninja-esque. I also liked how it was written, it switched between Matt and Betsy’s internal narrative, with Matt’s thoughts appearing in red, and Betsy’s in purple. Very well written. By Rick Remender. Who thought it would be a good idea for him to write Psylocke’s fight? Oh, right. EVERYONE. The Emma/Thor fight is good, and an interesting ending. Do pick this one up.
Also do yourself a favor and pick up American Vampire: Lord of Nightmares #2 (of 5). This issue weaves Lord Dracula into the mythos of the AV universe, and it’s impressive. Snyder does a great job of weaving real world events and stories into the fictional universe, as he has done in the past with the main American Vampire run. There’s a lot of history and set up in this book, but it’s all rather interesting, especially if you’re in to Dracula and the general lore of the American Vampire world. This is also a fantastic looking comic. Dustin Nguyen does a really good job. By now you should know, if Scott Snyder writes it, you read it.
The last one I have for you today is Wolverine and the X-Men #13. This Avengers VS X-Men tie-in is told from Warbird’s point of view. The Shi’ar have their clash with the Phoenix Five, and it doesn’t go well. This issue does a good job if giving a great deal of depth to a previous static character. It also show how powerful the Phoenix Five can be. While I will be ready for Jason Aaron to be given free reign and not have to tie into the event, his tie-ins have been great.

This game is garbage, its always been, the devs suck.
I have heard that those of us who are true believers will be taken before the world actually ends, but I am curious if anyone can predict exactly(or close to) when this magnificent happening will occur?
Because the light from THESE FEW TRUE BELIEVERS has been blazing across this filthy nation upon her gross rebellion against God (think murder/abortion, homosexuality, adultery/remarriage, fornication, idolatry, greed, lying priests, etc) causing men to be driven to such rage thinking they can shut us down with laws, counter-protests, vandalism and threats. All to the glorifying of God and spreading the gospel to all men. YAY!
is it only when he lies?! or is it whenever anyone who falsely testifies that such and such is a heretic. ?
for that fact what if a true prophet comes along and someone says its not biblical to have a prophet anymore, is not that interpretation of the bible a heresy?
so how do we know?
we are warned against false teachers but then again is any true believer a false teacher?

I want to live for God and not live for this world anymore. But how do I go about it with out it being an extreme to the point of becoming antisocial or isolated? I don’t plan on joining a cult, just a simple church, but do i have to stop watching tv and listening to music.
Does Someone know the true way of not living for this world?
If you are a “true believer” do you feel that you still have the ability to be objective about Obama? I have never seen people so willfully blind to this degree before.
After all, why am I being punished by being forced to pay for lazy, unproductive people who allow their houses to catch on fire? My house has never caught on fire. Nevertheless, if it ever did catch on fire I’m sure the corrupt, inefficient government would fail to respond in time. Why can’t Obama’s Nazi government allow me to choose which fire company to spend my hard earned money on, and decide for myself whether I wish to help people whose house has caught on fire?
Christ is the Godhead the believers are the body of Christ which is the Church. When Christ returns there will be one Church no denominations; Christ will be the temple residing with us all- those saved by the blood of Jesus.
If we accept the claim that “a true believers heart shall never waver”, and observer that there are many ex-christians – many of whom were completely indistinguishable from “true believers” to themselves and others, we have to accept the conclusion that they were never “true” believers, although they – and everyone around them – were sure they were.
Doesn’t that mean that not only is there no way for anybody to know that anybody else is a “true believer”, it’s impossible for a person to know that they themselves are?
Do you agree? I mean, true believers know he’s wrong. And only Camping will go into a nutshell at 6:01pm on Saturday May 21st, that’s my prediction.

I’m an X-Men fan and my stupid brotther is an Avengers fan…… We’re having this argument over who would win…. I said the X-men because they have like 20 members on the team and at least 5 of t hem are Omega-Level mutants.. But like an idiot my brother always has to go against me….

I saw this vampire movie in Chicago back in 1992 on channel 50 and I really liked the movie, any ways I want to see it again. I remember the movie being a love story line and the ending was pretty cool. I remember the Vampire falling in love with a woman and she having his baby in some church while they where about to get married or something and some vampire slayer is attacking him and trying to kill him in this church. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

It’s for a story I’m writing, based off of Twilight. I guess some character background would be helpful in naming him…
He’s approximately 140 years old. He feeds on humans. He exploits a girl named Isadore (who’s the main character) and uses her extremely strong fear of death to control her. He absuses her, finding it fascinating incrediably frail humans are, but never kills her. He uses her (in the story) to get inside a pack of werewolves that he wants to destroy. He’s really really violent, but he’s not scary in that sense. He’s also a living lie detector-that’s his “power”. You probably won’t get that unless you’ve read Twilight.
Name ideas? I want something not really exotic but not really common. And not James. (Sorry, I’ve been suggested that waaay too many times)
And believe me, the story is NOTHING like Twilight.
