Project Sora, the company that developed Kid Icarus: Uprising, has sadly decided to close its doors. Project Sora has left a message on their website stating that the studio is closed as of June 30th, and that the website will close on July 31st. The company was started by Masahiro Sakurai in 2009 with investments from Nintendo and Sakurai’s Sora studio, among others. Kid Icarus: Uprising debuted this past March and was the only game that the company produced. Sakurai is now the director of the 3DS and Wii U versions of the Smash Bros. series.
