If you missed it a few days ago, Sega just announced that they will be revisiting their roots and making a sequel to their critically acclaimed title Rome: Total War. And now they’ve released the announcement trailer to complement the, well, announcement.
In Total War: Rome II players will be involved in the most micro levels of war ranging from questioning one’s allies and loyalty to friends, as well as having to deal with the political strife that often comes with war through Rome’s senate. The game also promises to deliver “the most expansive turn-based campaign and the largest, most cinematic real-time battles yet seen in any game”.
Total War: Rome II is also being developed by The Creative Assembly, and is expected to release sometime in 2013 for PC.
I’ve been waiting a long time for this.
I’m pretty good at strategy games and at the moment I’m intrigued by rome total war but I keep seeing reviews saying Rome total war was extremely complex.Is this game too much for me?

WIll the mod, Lord of the Rings (for example), only allow me to play it in Lord of the Rings or will I be able to play it and the original Rome: Total War? Also, will the mod mess up the game so that there are bugs and lags?

Lately i wanted to play some rome total war so i clicked the icon on the left side of my screen and then a message would come up saying You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this item.
Please help me . What do i do ?
I tried running it at administrator but it still comes up with the same message.

I installed Rome Total War and it was a pretty good game and then i installed Rome Total War Barbarian Invasion and multiplayer wouldn’t work on it so i un installed them and tried to reinstall Rome Total War regular version but every time i get to disk two i this error thing pops up what do i do?
I am getting the game Rome: Total War, and I have been reading about different mods for it. The Realism one sounds very cool, but I have one question. If I download and install it, will it replace my original game? Will i still be able to play the non-modded Rome Total War?

In the requirments it excluded windows 7. Can i play rome total war on windows 7. I’m pretty sure you can with napoleon total war.

I have completed Rome: Total War after completing the victory conditions which were hold the city of Rome and 50 other provinces.
I’ve read about people being presented with the option to continue the game after completing the victory conditions, which is what I would like to do, but I am not given the option.
I was wondering if any of you lovely people either knew how to change it so I can continue or if there is a certain patch I need and if so then which one?

I need to transfer files from my desktop pc to my notebook. I have got a usb cable, and I want to transfer the files using this cable. My desktop runs Windows XP and my notebook runs Windows Vista.
For people who think rome total war is complex, well it isn’t, its only hard when your hopeless at strategy games, so its not that hard
I have purchased a new PC and I am in the process of backing up all my documents to discs to transfer to my new PC. However the music on my old PC takes up too much disc space to justify copying it to discs. I would like to somehow save my music. But how?
I’ve owned McAfee and Norton in the past, I’m currently running Virgin media PC Guard. I find they all slow my (old and already slow) laptop down. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I put a picture from my iPad onto my pc but since I shot it vertically it shows up sideways on my pc. Is there anyway to rotate the picture but not rotate my windows?
