This is a weekly segment where we share what games we are currently playing for our readers to get to know us a bit better. Said games can range from retro to current and from casual to FPS games. If we’re playing it, we’ll share it. Please feel free to comment with what you’re playing or your opinions on the games that we’re involved with.
Luis: I’ve mainly been revisiting old games. I’m playing some Close Quarters on Battlefield 3 and I love the Gun Master game mode. It’s basically the same as any other Gun Game type of mode, but 2 kills per weapon are required before advancing to the next one. The new weapons are pretty freakin’ sweet too. I’ve also resumed playing The Sims 3 for some unknown reason. Luis + The Sims 3 + Summer Break = Nonexistent Social Life. But I’m not complaining. And finally, I’m replaying Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in an attempt to get a Platinum. If I play my cards right, this will be my 7th one. Still one of my favorite cinematic gaming experiences I’ve ever had. When I started the game over, I had my mom watching me play through it for a good hour and a half or so. She even asked me once “Are you playing right now?” she said it all felt like she was watching a movie.
Chris: Jumped into playing Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. Been having a blast jumping back into this 3D fighter. Been winning more matches then I’m losing by poking people to death prang mantis style.
William: Lots of Diablo 3, and a real solid Smite session with Seth yesterday. Earned some new Gods. That game is pretty fun, there are a lot of ways in which it’s -really- good. Ymir man, Ymir too stronk. That’s -his- jungle. Also some more Legend of Dragoon and The World Ends With You. You can never go wrong with TWEWY…
Charles: Been playing Spec Ops: The Line. O-M-G. It’s such a good story, it had me hooked from beginning to end.
Jason: Have spent most of my time with The Amazing Spider-man game. I finished the main story and now have just been swinging around New York picking up collectibles. Finally hit level 60 on Diablo 3 and wow is that game hard on Inferno difficulty…especially as a squishy wizard. Also started early access for The Secret World. I’m enjoying it, but concerned that I (along with a lot of other people) might not be playing it anymore when Guild Wars 2 launches in August. 
Seth: I’ve been playing Spec Ops: The Line as well. Very surprised with how it made me feel. I also played a bit of SMITE with William. I’ve spent a lot of time in EVE Online this week, as my corporation just started a new contract, which is loads of fun!
Jeff: Finally got a Wii this week, and I finally had a chance to finish Epic Mickey. I absolutely loved it, but now it’s time to look for a few more games. In the meantime, I’ll just work on finishing Super Mario 3D Land‘s secret level. Right after I watch Oswald The Lucky Rabbit In: Trolley Trouble one more time.
Matthew: Kingdom Rush on my iPhone. It’s a little tower defense game that’s absolutely awesome. It’s insanely simple, but incredibly hard to master. The levels get intense really fast. Best 99¢ I’ve ever spent on an iOS game.
Ben: The only game I played this past week was Quantum Conundrum. It gets a lot of comparisons to Portal and it deserves them. The game is a very fun puzzler in which you can change dimensions to alter the world around you. The different dimensions are a blast to use and combine to solve the many many puzzles. I’m enjoying it quite a bit. Expect a review very soon.
Jen: Played Mass Effect 3 to see the extended endings, where I only watched the “red” and green” ones. I was happy that they fixed the Master and Commander achievement, which means I only have two left to get now. Since I never owned a Sega CD and I’ve always wanted to play Sonic CD, I finally picked up that game via XBLA. Its a lot of fun! My Dark Jedi just hit level 40 in SWTOR last night and I played a little bit of Bejeweled 3 to pass the time. I also had the chance to try out the indie game Resonance, which I am also reviewing and should be up later today.

My ex and I broke up (he is 37 and I am 25) because I wanted the relationship to move forward after 1.5 years.
He is an attorney and I just graduated from law school. We spent our time going to classy restaurants, plays, museums, cooking together and having wonderful conversations and intimate moments together. For the past few months he has been saying that we would take the next step and get more serious and that he felt closer and closer to me each day.
I confronted him about it and brought up moving forward. He said he was not entirely ready yet and maybe needed some time. I however was getting a bit tired of some things like him getting a bit lazy with the relationship the past few weeks. So I told him I would move on and he didn’t stop me. (he has this mentality of “don’t chase a woman bc it shows weakness-he even has told me this). During our relationship he used to say things like, “If you show a woman that you care too much she will hurt you.” I can now see he had baggage from the previous golddigger he wasted his time with.
He also said him not being ready is “a mistake he will regret” because I am a rare woman and he was happy with me.
THen he said he wants to be friends and go out to cafes (he said we would sometime next week). He also said that he will think about me often.
Now, I went by his home to pick up some of my stuff 2 days after the breakup (unnanounced). He opened the door and looked nervous and said , “I have some company sweetie, can you come tomorrow?” I asked him, “do you have a chick over?” He was silent and looked nervous and didn’t answer. I just walked in anyway and there was a new chick there (very cheap and trashy dressed), sitting on his floor with her legs open in some tacky spandex leggings. He went back in was laying on the couch silent. They were just watching tv sitting far from each other. At first she smiled not knowing who I must have been, then her expression changed as there wa silence in the room and my face was in shock.
She got up and said, “I think I am going to leave you two alone,” with an embarassed and confused look. He didn’t get up to stop her or anything. I asked if she was the reason we weren’t moving forward and he said “no. Stop assuming things.” He did fess up that he met her 3-4 months ago and saw her 2wice back then and decided to call her again after this long.
I was so heartbroken-is this a serious gf? WHy do men date so fast after a breakup?
I left hurt and angry and told him things that hurt him. Then he texted me afew times to apologize and to see “how I’m doing?” and lame apologies.
Then texted again a few days later. My mom saw him sitting at a cafe the next day and he was with his head down looking really upset. Next thing I found out from a family friend of his who I ran into was that he left to see his family in Malta (a couple of days after the last text fight where he texted me and I spit back some of my anger). He is still gone for 3 weeks now. The thing is he usually leaves after the 4th of July and he left after this craziness mid June.
Question 1:. Is this new woman something I should worry about? She is of a different nationality and he only would marry our nationality.
Could it just be a warm body he wanted next to him?
I am going to move on slowly. But what is this skanky woman about?

So I want to get a lip ring but im in marching band and we can’t wear jewelry for shows or parades. Our first parade is July 25th but I dont think I would get in trouble. But I have to be able to take it out by September 12th (our first show). Today is June 24th so I have about a month until our first parade and like 3 1/2 months until our first show. So will I be able to take it out by then? I was also going to get a nose ring. Would I be able to take that out in a month? Also what is a good place to get a body piercing in minneapolis minnesota? And will I be able to play the clarinet with a lip ring? Thanks…
Me and My wife seperated the first week of July cause all we’ve done lately is argue about any and everything. We are in our 2nd year of marriage and I’m 25 and she is 22 we have 1 child together but anyway this past April I found out my wife was cheating on me her best friends brother. Since then we have not been able to get along except for the past week. Why is she playing games with me?

He is still gone for 3 weeks now. The thing is he usually leaves after the 4th of July and he left after this craziness mid June.
Question 1:. Is this new woman something I should worry about? She is of a different nationality and he only would marry our nationality.
Could it just be a warm body he wanted next to him?

He went from a classy professional to some girl sitting like a hooker in his house, no class sitting on the floor with legs open like it was a lamaze class.
I care about him and deep down inside wish he would come back and try to make things work.

Bio: I’m a blonde haired blue eyed girl standing at 5’6″. I am also 18 going on 19 in July (:D Yay! <3) I plan on auditioning for the 2010 auditions for JYP, SM, and YG. To get prepared, I plan on hitting the gym 5/7 days a week, go on a healthy diet, and will attend Korean language classes starting June 18th all the way until I complete all courses available. I am also going to attend various vocal coaching classes and start dance lessons later on this year. I also hope to make my body similar to KARA's Nicole. (She looks absolutely fantastic :] ) Since I have this planned out, I have some questions to even have a better understanding of what I need to do to make sure I am at my best.
1) I understand they say any nationality is accepted, but is it really unbiased? Since I am an american girl from California, I just want to make sure, because I'll do whatever I can to overcompensate for that.
2) Are there any recommended exercises I should work on specifically to accomplish my goal?
3) When are auditions usually held? I understand we do first submissions via sending in a recording. Do they want both our vocal abilities as well as our dance in it? I want to make sure I can do a fantastic video.
4) For recording the audition, what electronic is best for sound and visual?
5) Are auditions held just in NYC (like for JYP) or other places like LA or Korea?
6) If they like your mail submission, how do you know if you are accepted, and what happens next?
7) If you manage to get through, and you go to the auditioning place, what do you recommend to wear?
8) At the interview what happens? Is it just questions or do you perform for them?
9) Any specific music they look for in auditions?
10) Where are auditions held for JYP, SM, YG?
11) I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but we pay for our own plane tickets and lodgings correct?
12) If you pass the second audition, what happens from then?
13) For training, do you move over to Korea and train? I know you can be trained for 2-6 years, but with everything I'm preparing for beforehand, it should be in the early range?
14) What is taught during training?
15) For the first step, which is submission, are there specific websites? Or via e-mail? When should I submit? (for example August, September?)
16) With the first submission, should I include a professional picture? And if possible, a CD containing my vocals?
17) Is it required to play an instrument? A plus? (ie. the piano? :] )
18) Though I'm pretty sure they only ones able to answer these questions would have to have experience with these companies, for those who do, what is it like? I'm very curious and I feel so much better when I know beforehand what to expect.
19) Is there any advice you could give me?
20) Including everything in my bio, does it sound like I'd have a sound chance?
21) Oh, just remembered! I'm letting my natural hair grow out in order to have natural, healthy hair. Should I dye it? If so, is blonde acceptable, or is it a negative point for these guys?
22) Any specific types of dances I should learn?
23)For each individual company, what is it each are looking for?
24) What are the judges like? For example, I know JYP for JYP, but would the other judges be other workers from that company or some of his other talent like 2PM of Wonder Girls?
25) For music, does it have to be american, or can it be korean as well? I was thinking about it, and it wouldn't be wise to use music from other companies right? For example, BEAST's "Shock" for a JYP audition.
26) I just thought about this, but even though it says auditions are open "all year around", is it really ok? Let's say I manage to get the point I want to this year instead of next year by….mmmm….October? How would that go?
