ArenaNet has finally given fans of Guild Wars 2 the answer to everyone’s question: “When will Guild Wars 2 launch?” We can now settle down as that release date has been revealed with a launch date of August 28th, 2012.
With the newly announced release date for Guild Wars 2, ArenaNet has also announced the final Beta Weekend Event and when the Headstart for Pre-Purchasers will begin. If you haven’t already obtained your copy, now would be a great time to jump in on the action!
The final weekend for the Beta Weekend Event will be from July 20- July 22.(Batman and Guild Wars anyone?) This will be the last time players will be able to play Guild Wars 2 until the release, so better get your fix in then. The Headstart will begin 3 days before launch on the 25th of August.

How will you know when one starts? I have been told its likely that one will start in the next 8-10 days, but will they email you? Or will you have to look on the website to be sure?
Also, what do you think the chances GW2 will end up like SWTOR, rift and all the others that were so hyped up about before failing?
I bought a code from their website then I got a couple emails the email that said congratulations had a link that took me to their forums and I don’t know how I can download the beta client in preparation for the next beta weekend event. Please help!
This is the only serial code customers will receive and will grant access to the Beta Weekend Events, three-day Headstart Access, the Hero’s Band digital item, and full access to the final live game.
i bought the game today i open up inbox no email to show that there was a serial code for download to gain access to guildwars 2 beta (Was bought of retailer that is listed in guildwars 2 website)

Well, I guess my question is, Is it worth playing Guild Wars now seeing as Guild Wars 2 is coming out this year and also what does hall of monuments entail? I ask this because you can get rewards from hall of monuments in Guild Wars 2 from your original Guild Wars character.

I read that the minimum system req for Guild wars 2 was a GeForce 7800. However, my computer is running dual SLI ( 2 GeForce 7600′s) and can run just about any game at its highest graphics setting with no problem. Will this be good enough for Guild Wars 2 or will I not even be able to get on the game?

I have signed up for guild wars 2 beta. I downloaded the file and they got my computer info stuff (can’t remember the name atm) its just under a week since I went for it. I am under 18 but i read the FAQs and it said if under 18, get parent permission. Which i did. So what are the qualifications and how long do you think before I get accepted/rejected.

I bought my beta key today, and I was in the middle of creating a toon when I was disconnected. when I tried to log back in, it said that the account I was using can’t access Aion. I just got to more kittens in additions to my other 2 kittens. I noticed this morning when i fed them (6 in total and kept outside) 2 of the kittens sat on the food. So i poured another pile and one sat on that too. They are around 2-3 months old. The other 2 kittens are 2 months and the others are over a year. If the other 4 try to eat the 2 claw and bite at them. How can i make them stop being agressive?
Okay so I am going to Pre-order GuildWars2. But what I would like to know is if you pre-order at say GameStop and get a retail version not the digital version (Just the normal everyday version not the collectors or deluxe). How do you get early 3 day access and access to Weekend Beta events? Or can you still get access to all those things, Or do you have to buy it digatally to get the early access to weekend events and stuff?
I’ll be watching TV and 2 ads of the same company come on in a row and only 2 times. Never more than 2. Just pointing it out lol. I’m sure they would buy up all the ad space if they were allowed to.

We had 2 female cats, (one 11 yrs old, and this 2 yr old) and about 4 months ago got a 5 yr old male from a shelter. The 2 yr old female seems to think that she is the Alpha Male of the house and is constantly battling with the male, and will even growl at the other female if she hangs out with the male. The two will kind of get along sometimes, and I really think that half the time, they are only playing, but I hope that this is not a teritorial thing. Anyway, the 2 yr old has chewed (and destroyed) MP3 speaker wires, 2 computer’s speaker wires, cell phone charger wires, computer mouse wires, and most of the time, they are still plugged into the outlet! I am afraid that she is going to be electrocuted or decide to move up to more bigger and better (hopefully not tastier) appliances. HELP!
