I have 2 Xboxs one is an elite and the other the new one with the integrated wifi but on my elites hard drive theres the full trials hd game I have 2 profiles but it’s works on both yet on my new one I only have my one profile wich apparently has some achievements of the game but I need to re purchase it so I just transferred it from my old one to my new one by a USB but when I go to Play its still a trial? How could I fix that?
Hi. I am using a shared computer and every time I download something (Such as I-tunes for example) it gets downloaded onto the other accounts on this computer.
I’m looking to download AIM or some other type of messenger that has to be downloaded but won’t download because it will be downloaded to all accounts. I only want it on mine.

We are trying to connect to a server located in the US from our India offices. We have a 512kbps line and we find that there is a latency of about 350ms. When I try to download a file, it takes a lot of time (About 6 hours for downloading a 1GB file). Is this reasonable? How can I calculate the expected download speed, given latency and the bandwidth? Is there any formula to calculate the download speed? Are latency and bandwidth the only factors involved?

I just bought some songs on the Rock Band store to use on my PS3 with the Rock Band 2 game. The tracks do show up in my download list but the download stays stuck at 99%. I’ve already tried cancelling the downloads, restarting the PS3 and downloading again, and this time got an error (code 80710723).
If anyone knows a workaround for this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yahoo is getting stuck on the ‘downloading file’ window. For a few months I canceled the first download attempt and the second attempt would usually finish the download and allow me to view it. Now I can not view attachments after multiple attempts. I suspect it may be a setting somewhere like in my Norton Internet Security.

I got items from the sims store and I am trying to get it to work when i click the download button. A box comes up saying I need to download the full version from “Game Updates”. When I click on the “Game Updates”, and it says there are no patches to download. I don’t know what to do, could it be because of the fact that the Sims 3 game is not saved onto my computer but from a WD hardware drive.
I’ve just inherited a Nikon Coolpix 3200 camera and I need to download the driver. I only want to download the driver and not download a scan beforehand. For Free users, there’s a waiting period between downloads. This can make downloading a file that’s in “part” files take several hours, even if you start downloading the next files as soon as possible. Is there some way to download what you want without babysitting the downloads?

I use the website picnik.com and relized they have a teeth whitening and blemish fix option, but it’s for premium members only that pay a yearly fee. I’m thinking about doing it, but want to know if any other image editing softwares out there have these options and if they are pretty easy to use.
A few of my friends have videos that I would really like to have for myself. However, I don’t have Firefox (so I don’t have the happy little “download” button on videos) and I can’t download them using keepvid, downfacebook or similar. There used to be a way looking at temporary internet files or something (because every video must be temporarily downloaded, right?) but I’m now on Windows 7 and have no idea how to do it.

When I download an Excel file, the download manager only gives me the option of selecting Firefox (web browser), or Adobe Reader 7.0. If I want to open the file, I always have to browse for the excel program. How do I get the manager to automatically select the program based on the file extension I am downloading?
