  1. I heard dead stars still produces their own lights… then what’s the difference between an alive star and a dead star. Also, What does it mean when a star dies… doesn’t it mean like it explodes or anything like that?
something dead is not suppose to produce anything… in this case (light)

  2. I’m applying to a summer camp, and I’ve thought over this essay question for weeks. At first, I wrote about Stephen Hawking, but then I thought about Newton and Curie and Galileo and my head promptly exploded. I don’t want to write about Einstein, or any other world-famous scientist; I’m looking for the unsung-but-changed-the-world type of person, if you know what I mean. If some scientific soul out there can point out anybody I’ve missed, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I’ve recently gotten an upright bass. I’m familiar with theory, so my problems are more technical. I’m wanting to focus on jazz and rockabilly (slapping). What are some common issues (revolving around technique) I need to focus on and learn when going from the electric bass to the upright bass? What reading/video material can I buy or possible get for free off the Internet?

  5. I am looking for bass that can deliver a heavy booming thunderous tone, but you also play clean sounding beautiful melodies on it as well. What kind of bass has such sound?

  6. Me and my friends are thinking about starting a small emotional/metal/hardcore band and right now i play keyboard and have been taking lessons for about a year but for the band i want to play bass for the band. I can play a little bit of guitar but i’m not sure how to play bass. If you have any tips please tell me. I’ll probably get one at guitar center but i need to know if they’re any stores with cheap basses that sound good and please no online stores.

I got a new pair of tweeters. They’re very clean, very loud, but they allow too much bass into them and dont want to blow them too soon. I got a pair of bass blockers for tweeters but need some help installing them. Couldnt find any info online that was helpful, so hopefully someone here can help. Thanks!

  8. Say I’m in the key of Eb. The perfect fifth above the tonic is Bb. Do I still have to write a flat next to the five in the figured bass? When writing the four part harmony given the figured bass, do I assume a major triad in the key of the chord if there is nothing written for the figured bass?

  9. I’ve never played any guitar before but i want to start playing bass. Does anyone have any suggestions of what would be a good bass guitar, one that has good action and is easy to use and is reasonably priced?
