Planetside 2 is currently in the beta testing part of the developmental process. This title pits mass amount of assult troops with or without combat vehicles all with the point for players to capture their opponents base. Soliders will be asked to defend their bases against a seemingly never ending wave of rebels. This futuristic warfare title certainly has a go big or go home approach with it’s massive stages and the capability to handle a huge number of players.
This massive mulitplayer online first person shooter looks intense and the footage that Sony Online Entertainment has provided (via their Youtube page) looks impressive. PC gamers may want to be on the watch for this title as it completes beta testing and moves further along into development.

ok so im in my carrer management class and i am picking an occupation and i have chosen Video Game Beta Testing and i am really gonna take this and discuss it with my parents if i can commit a little time to beta testing with microsoft and make a little money on the side but that is my question. If i were to get a job in testing would i make money as a 15 year old? i am really looking for someone to answer who is doing this but anyones answer is appreciated and also since testing is done at home and something happens to the game or my console who has to pay for it? I know if my console breaks i will have to pay for it but what if the game messes it up or the game gets scrtached up. Do i get to keep the game? i have a ton of question that could go on forever so all your answers and help is most wanted and whoever can give me the most response gets the 10 points

ok well from my understanding microsoft has a beta testing offer for teenagers under 18 and i aslo saw an add that said you can make up to $80 an hour at the max and im not worried about reports or nothing cause i can do all that but even though im 15 ive been playing and studying gaming since i was 5 when i got my fisrt game system it was the old gray boxes you open up the front and slide in the game that had mario and duck hunt on one. I think that i have enough experience and the first answerer i dont know who the heck you work for but what would be the point of having a testing job and not get any financial benefit. How could you afford to live nonetheless affor gam consoles and service if you have a full time job doing something for free?
o and answerer #2 you are crazy bud. most testing is done at home for Video games like on a console such as an xbox 360 i dont go to no office and work, basically testing for -18 years of age is a done atr home test for a certain amount of time i just wanted to know what the conditions were and what i wanted to do i think the 1st answerer made a better answer.

I am interested in beta testing video games and I wanted to know how exactly to get into it. Every time I search about betas I see forums upon forums where people are talking about how they got there beta code, but nobody talks about how or why the companies are emailing them with beta codes. I sent some emails to companies requesting information and I am waiting for a response, but any info or help I can get from here would be greatly appreciated.

My friends always (I literally mean always) get chosen do beta testing. He beta tested all the blizzard stuff (except vanilla wow) and SWTOR I signed up for all of them and didn’t get a single one. Then of course I had to be gone when SWTOR did their weekend test. So what’s a better way to get chose. For beta testing
