The Battle Begins this Friday, as Funcom’s final beta weekend for The Secret World brings the focus down on player versus player content (finally)! If you played in any of the previous beta weekends your character progress will be carried over and you will now be able to queue for any of the player versus player instances that were previously inactive. El Dorado and Stonehenge are just a couple of the fabled places that the secret societies can battle out with each other. All previous content (including the two new dungeons revealed last beta weekend) will also be available. Last weekend’s Hell Raised, which included a dungeon that saw players entering the depths of Hell itself, saw the largest turnout for a beta weekend thus far for the highly anticipated modern MMO.
“The game is definitely living up to our expectations, and it appears this is a sentiment we share with our testers as well,” says Funcom SVP of Sales & Marketing Morten Larssen. “The playtime per participant during the last Beta Weekend was very impressive, shattering all records from previous Beta Weekends or even beta events from our previous games. This is a strong indication of the engagement and depth of the gameplay experience. Beta surveys have shown that four out of five players will recommend the game to their friends, something we find remarkably positive and a true testament to the quality of the game and the amazing work the team has done.”
If that’s not proof enough that The Secret World may very well be the next big thing in MMO’s, the pre-launch Facebook game “The Secret War” had gathered over 250,000 participants. In this final beta weekend players can play as a member of any of the three secret societies and experience their starting content and individual hub worlds. The chaos obsessed Dragon start in Seoul, Korea, the shadowy Illuminati in New York and the ruthlessly noble Templars in London. Developed by Funcom and published by EA, The Secret World will launch for PC on July 3. Beta Weekend 4, titled The Battle Begins starts at 9am PDT on June 22 and runs for almost three entire days until 11:59pm PDT on June 24.

Hello! In march or april 2008 Funcom will release their game Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. It’s an Massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). I’ve read that if they succed, the stock will probably tripple itself. So I was wondering if it’s smart to get in now with some money, and sell after they have gone sky rocketing.
As people know, World of Warcraft has over 8 million different user accounts. And I was thinking that if Age of Conan is going to sell half as good as WoW, they’ll probably go way further than just tripple the stock. So anyone has a good answer for me?
Curious as to the ‘numbers’ and financials from the stock FCMKF… they are about to release a new product, but Im curious how their financials look currently?

I lost my Age of Conan game DVDs, is there a way to possibly download the game client? I have checked the FunCom site but haven’t seen anything and wanted to know am I out of luck on this or can I get a new copy of the game?

Not sure why Funcom makes the armour so bland, where is all the nice looking stuff? the Awsome looking weapons? the Kick-ass looking shield and sword, they kick-ass looking staff?….spice things up Funcom, your lacking alot of creativity when it comes to Armour and weapons.
i look in the funcom folder, and in the start menu, but all i find is the patcher, updater, and simpleconfing files, i dont see ageof conan.exe anywhere, is there still something else i need to install for it?
They announced this MMO so long ago and still no open beta. It’s getting to the point now where I almost don’t care anymore. If anyone knows when open beta will be that would be appreciated.
I have Silver 18×8.5 tsw interlagos rotary forged rims. Unfortunatly they have some road rash. Does anyone know paint that would work well with these wheels for when I fix the road rash.

I downloaded Anarchy Online recently and I am using Kaspersky Antivirus 2011. Something that has been catching my attention is whenever I start up Anarchy Online, a small window appears on the lower right of my computer It says:
“C:FUNCOMANARCHY ONLINECLIENT.EXE” saying that is legal software that can be used by criminals for damaging your computer or personal data PDM.Keylogger….
I was told by my friend that it is just something the game uses to remember my data or something but I just want to run it by the community to ease my suspicion. It also categorized under MEDIUM. I downloaded the large client of the game from the website. I ran a virus scan on my computer and it didnt come up with this keylogger file also. Am I safe?

Ok, in 2003 funcom released the game The Longest Journey, I have the sequel to it, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
But I have never played the first game, so, is The Longest Journey on X-BOX, and if so, then where do I get it?

I’m pet sitting my friend’s beta fish while she’s out of town for the weekend and I really really wanna change the water and clean the tank and rocks cause it’s pretty icky. My last experience with a beta fish wasn’t a good one. It died after I changed the water…and I really don’t wanna kill hers. So is there a certain way to do it?
As I came home from a weekend at my dads I found my brothers beta fish in my tank since he recently moved and didn’t take his fish with him (jerk). I know of the beta’s aggressive behavior and was wondering if any of my fish were in danger i have a feeder goldfish whom is bigger than the beta, 3 glo-tetra’s a neon tetra and a cory catfish.
I downloaded the Secret World from Funcom. I made an account, updated the software, and began playing the game. But on every load screen in between instances, my Norton Software says that pop-up blocked while trying to access “secretworld.updates.com”, and that the reason for the block is because it contains pornagraphy. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening and any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
The game is roughly 2 – 3 years old now. I played at launch and it was full of bugs. Customer support was almost unheard of from Funcom. I was wondering if the game was worth playing now?
Ok, so a random dude quit AOC and gave his account online. I’m on age of conan and i want to see if i can buy the 9000 funcom points… problem is that I dont know what I’m doing. So i keep clicking through the thing to see my payment options and it says confirm order. I, again have know idea what this means so i click confirm and it says that i successfully purchased. Thats when i start to wonter. I go back to my account and i have 9000 points now so now im worried. I go to current payment options and then i find that the dudes credit card is still on there! FOr all i know it is a kid and his lawyer father helped him get this! So what do I do! Will he find out? I really want to refund but everyone online says i cant. If u know a way to refund plzzz tell me. I have no access to this guy! will the cops be at my door tomorrow? Help! plzz :’(
I hear there’s an open beta event this weekend, if I download and install the client, will it be used just for the 3 day event or can I use the same client without redownloading after i buy Diablo 3 after its release?
