Whenever i go to do a live stream on twitch tv it goes well but for some reason my videos can be laggy and they always cut them off after between 1 – 2 mins then start them again! all i want to know is how do i stop the laggy videos ad how to stop the video separating into parts?

I’m looking to live stream my gameplay from my systems to the PC. I have never done this before, but I think i need a capture card or something? I’m just unsure of how the process goes and what all i need. I use HDMI cables for the systems. I’m also looking to record some videos to upload on YouTube. I love streaming games on twitch and I feel I have a decent entertaining stream. I communicate with the chat when there are people there, and play games that people generally enjoy (mostly dota 2). However the problem is it seems near impossible to get any viewers early on before I gain popularity. I might get something like 3 or 4 viewers and that’s fun and a good start. Most often though I’ll get something like 1 or 2 viewers that will watch for 10 seconds and then leave instantly. How can I get started early to gain popularity?
How do I record games live on Twitch TV?
(I’m going to be playing PC games, not console)
Ok, so I go on Twitch.TV to watch Starcraft 2 players streaming, and when i’m watching the stream i’d like to be able to see/write in the chat, but for me it won’t work. all it does is sit there with a spinning wheel saying loading, regardless of how long i wait. and i don’t think it’s a net connection issue since i can watch the streams just fine.
It also doesn’t show me what other people are saying, and i can’t click on the typing box, but the other little setting things i can click on. anyone have any ideas on how to fix that?
far as i know it’s not a pay-for service (the chat) and as far as i know there aren’t any plug ins i’m meant to have? i’m working off google chrome
I have downloaded Diablo 3 beta and when i go on it, it has a log on for battle net and i made a battle net account and when i signed it it said Error 12 not attached to Diablo 3? anyone know why?
How big is the budget that Blizzard set out to make the game Diablo 3? A billion dollars? 500 million? I mean, they’ve been developing it for probably a good 5+ years at this point.

Not much of a computer whiz…But my laptop is average to say the best; not much of a gaming computer. Anyway, Diablo 3 on this computer looks fantastic, but it’s a bit choppy…I’d honestly like it to run very smooth at the expense of less detail and fx and what not. Any suggestions as to how I go about doing this?
