So Microsoft has this mystery press conference going on today. We have no idea what it’s actually about. But, we now know what it may be about.
TechCrunch is convinced that today we’ll see the announcement of a tablet made by both Barnes & Noble and Microsoft and will feature Xbox Live video streaming.
Whether the tablet will feature Windows 8 reminds to be seen, but a NOOK that features Xbox Live could be an interesting development.
We’ll find out for sure tonight at 6:30 EDT/3:30 PDT.
UPDATE: Nope! Barnes & Noble isn’t a part of this announcement.

Microsoft was founded in 1975 and Apple was founded in 1976, which is just one year later. Then how did Microsoft manage to achieve over 80% of the market share and Apple only about 5-10%?
I will be getting xbox live shortly, and will be downloading content. I know that you have to buy microsoft points for certain downloads. Can someone tell me how many microsoft points I need per download?
I have an Xbox 360 and i recentlky got the wireless adapter made by Xbox, so that i could connnect to Xbox Live. However whenever i try to connect it brings up a purple screen that say the adapter is plugged in but the wireless network isnt connected. I have a 2Wire wireless router i think and i would really like to do this without much technical jargon. Thanks.
I had a free trial of microsoft expression web 2 for class, but it has expired so now I’m trying to buy the software. I looked on the microsoft website, but I can only find where they’re selling the newest version, microsoft expression web 3. I’m wondering if there’s much of a difference between the two and if I should go ahead and buy the M. E. Web 3.

i just wanted to know how much xbox live costs per year. I just got my xbox 360 and my friends tell me to get this thing called xbox live. I have done some research and know what xbox live is, I just really want to know how much it costs. and, do you make payments per year? and, if so, how much per year?
So the majority of what I would like to use a tablet for is to get online to view tv shows (as i don’t watch tv enough to warrant getting cable) and the occasional movie- perhaps check fb. What devise would you recommend – best bang for the buck?
