I adore NHL 94 and still pull out my Sega Genesis to play it on a regular basis. But NHL 13 is giving the game a run for its money.
Fresh off some hands on time with the title back at E3, EA Sports has released an all new developer diary discussing how they’re further enhancing a realistic experience with NHL 13. Today, we look at improved goalie awareness, as well as improved player AI to better reflect their awareness of players without the puck, not to mention how they’re no longer content with puck handlers freely roaming the neutral zone.
All three points touched on in the video were evident during the E3 demo and do an excellent job of showing how NHL 13 is shaping to be a gigantic improvement over the critically successful NHL 12.

Winnipeg hockey fans will happy to have a team again and really won’t care that much which division the team plays in. There isn’t a requirement for any realignment but you’d think the league will eventually do one of sorts since Winnipeg being in the Southeast Division isn’t a very good fit.
What division realignment would you suggest the NHL do?
A long time ago, a friend and I used to play this pinball game for the Sega Genesis that you could build your own pinball board. Two methods I know of were the ‘gore’ theme and the ‘construction’ theme. I’ve been driving myself CRAZY trying to remember what the name of the game was called. Anyone remember?
EA already has us paying 40 or 20 dollars for expansion and stuff packs, but they’re so greedy that they still make us buy the sims 3 custom content online and now they’ve made an update that prevents people from using torrents to get what we should have gotten for free in the first place.
According to the latest EA simulation, Patriots beat the Giants 38-30 in the Super Bowl. Which game system and game do they simulate? When did this trend begin? Has it always been accurate? Does it deserve the coverage on ESPN?
I’ve been doing ALOT of research on NHL center ice for Dish Network this year (07-08). And people are saying there almost close to having NHL network and there still wrapping up negotiations with the HD portion. Now NHL center ice is from indemand and NHL network is from comcast. On one site i looked at it said that Dish Network has announced that they will be using the NHL network with comcast. What is better NHLCI and indemand or NHL network and comcast?
