Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed was something I had completely forgotten about so I was pleaseantly surprised when I walked by Sega’s booth at E3. I was actually a big fan of the original game and this new one adds several great new features.
Now even more Sega franchises have racers in this version like Vyse from Skies of Arcadia, Gilius Thunderhead from Golden Axe, and Joe Musashi from Shinobi. The demo showed off three tracks, one each from Panzer Dragoon, Golden Axe, and Super Monkey Ball.
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed also brings in several new aspects to the series. The biggest one is that the tracks change from just normal road driving to boat sections and even to the air. Your vehicle seamlessly transforms when it needs to to accommodate the new terrain and each type of racing feels different and great. It is definitely going after what Mario Kart 7 did last fall but Sega has taken it much further. When the game first tossed me out to a flying section I was instantly flying around like a natural. It also felt remarkably good. Interestingly, and probably to the game’s benefit so as not to overuse the gimmick, not all tracks will have all 3 different styles of racing.
The other new addition is that the tracks change to varying degrees as you play through them. The Panzer Dragoon track started out as a mix of land and sea racing but by the end most of the level had been destroyed and you were flying over it. It was great to see and really matched the feel of the original game. The other two tracks in the demo also did similar things.
Powers seem to be much less common than in the first game and I only noticed a handful of different types. I also didn’t see any returning items from the first game which I find to be very odd. Unique to each character All-Star moves return but weren’t implemented yet in the demo and are now obtained by collecting enough star coins scattered around the track.
The frame rate was mostly solid but it did feel somewhat slow at times. I’m hoping they are able to fix that up before the game releases.
Overall, I had a blast playing Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed. It looks like they’ve tightened up all the loose fitting pieces from the first one and added a bunch of new features that should make kart racing fans very interested.
I only got to play the PS3 version but Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed will also be available for PC, 3DS, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PS Vita sometime in late 2012.

The games i played were not as good as the early 90s and so were the Nintendo games even today. Why is that? Also 2nd question? Why did Sega discontinued the dreamcast for?
Meaning, I have a couple of Sega CD games, but no Sega CD. I try to be as non piratey as I can be for whatever reason, usually. Are there any Sega CD emulators that can play a phsyical Sega CD game from my computer’s disk drive?
I have an old Sega Game Gear in perfect condition. It is still in its original zippered case with all the cables and power supplies and stuff as well as 4 games and the original paperwork. If it matters, the 4 games are Sonic Triple Trouble, Aladdin, Deep Duck Trouble, and The Lion King.
I’m looking at selling some old video game systems and games. I have an old Sega Genesis and Sega Master. I’ve got about 8 games for each console and controllers for both. How much do you think I could get if I sell them?

I am playing Sega Rally on a psp phat and running games on firmware version 5.50 gen-d3. Sega rally exists on a UMD in my PSP and not a memory card because I have no space on my memory card although space could be made, but its not my best option. Space is limited and I have a legit game that keeps freezing.

Seeing that a lot of older games are being remade in HD and re-released onto the XBL and PSN marketplaces, I was wondering if there was any word on two games in particular. The first game in Sonic Adventure 2. It wouldn’t be a stretch, since they did Sonic Adventure. The other game in Panzer Dragoon Orta. This was a really fun game, so I hope it gets remade in HD. Is there any proof that these games are going to have a remake?
I cant seem to change the color or assign a material. The colour change shows on the wireframe but not on the object itself which is currently displayed as grey. It is not frozen. Please help! I had used version 9 to create the object and imported it into 6 to edit it using .3ds format.

I plan to get a 3ds, but there arn’t too many good games out yet. The retail price right now is 249.99, but the wii went down nearly 100 dollars after a while.
Once I beat the game, I stopped playing the 3DS. I pretty much bought it just for the game. How much do you guys think GameStop would give me for the 3DS and the Zelda game together? The 3DS still has the box, the charger, the dock, the full intruction packet along with that Nintendo game card thingy, and the Zelda game still with its case along with the packets inside. What do you guys think?
Animal crossing 3ds is coming out today and I LOVE animal crossing! But I live in a small town and we only have gamestop, walmart, shopko, and kmart. Would any of those stores have it since it comes out today? Please reply. I LOVE IT!
According to Nintendo the new 3DS update featuring the long-awaited browser and eshop was released today. I, however, am having trouble updating. Whenever I try to update it says my 3DS is already up to date, and the settings just closes. I was wondering if any of you have had any success?
