Disney appears to be firing on all cylinders these days, don’t they? Even though their newest Pixar film has yet to grace theaters, they’ve already got another animated movie set to release later this year. What’s that you say? If Pixar isn’t developing this one, why care? You should care because this new animated film is called Wreck-It Ralph, and it dives into the psychology of your typical villain in classic video game form. Although, our featured villain wants to be a good guy.
Wreck-It Ralph has a very promising cast to voice many of the key characters in this film including: John C. Reilly, some may know him from Step Brothers; Jack McBrayer from 30Rock; Jane Lynch, from the hit show Glee; and Sarah Silverman ends the list of announced voices. The voice talent for this movie alone seems promising enough. All of these actors have very animated personalities, so it’s very easy to imagine them in cartoon form.
Okay, great, we have a cool concept of villains striving to be more than the bad guy and an excellent voice cast. What could make this even better? How about a great list of cameos from some of the most beloved characters from our favorite video game franchises?

Yes, Wreck-It Ralph will contain cameo appearances from some of our most favorite baddies in gaming history like Bowser, Dr. Eggman, Kano, Chun-Li, and your favorite orange, Pac-Man-eating ghost, Clyde.
The Disney Animation Studios film looks amazing and with classic bad guys showing off their bad-selves, who wouldn’t love the already? Rich Moore, who’s done wonderful work for the Simpsons and Futurama, will be directing this feature film, so watch out for the trailers in theaters, and especially, look out for the movie, itself, hitting theaters in North America on November 2.

I have been hearing quite a bit about this movie called Wreck It Ralph, from what I understand it takes place in a videogame world. Now this is the plot according to IMDB:
“Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan — win a medal — but soon wrecks everything, and accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?”
Do you think it sounds a bit like the Dreamworks film Megamind crossed with Reboot the tv series or more like Despicable Me with Tron thrown in?
My pac man frog is a juvenile and i got him on 5-21-12 and have been trying to feed him every night since. But he keeps rubbing his face with his front arms. Do you know why he won’t eat? How do u know when he is shedding? I got him at petco. Can some one please give me a solution.
now that i think about it…i know some people are tired of crossovers, but this is like one of the most requested crossovers ever, since Capcom owns marvel characters and Netherrealm studio DC ones, why wouldn’t they unite to make Marvel vs. DC game?
i don’t understand people, who say DC and Marvel don’t come together…WTH HOW come they don’t come together? both universes have their icons and mascots! DC has Superman and Batman, Marvel has Captain America and Spider-Man and so on…they have similar powers, Spider-Man almost as popular and good as Batman i can go on and on on that subject…
and might i ask you then…do they come together any less obviously than lets say Street Fighter and X-Men? i mean yeah human beings (being powerful or not…) vs. supermutants with lots of inhuman powers and projectiles,
but yet somehow Capcom made it happen…so why not DC. vs Marvel is any different is beyond me…:|

After watching a Mortal Kombat trailer that confirmed Kratos as a playable cameo (on PS3 I think), I wanted to ask: who would win? Please elaborate and no trolling, I wanna see your opinions on this. Yes, I know Mortal Kombat is slated for April this year…I hope it’s a flawless victory for NetherRealm Studios.
Okay, I understand that most would argue “Kratos is the God of War, he’d destroy anything in his path ’cause some of us played all 3 games!” but for a moment let’s assume he’s not half god and merely mortal like everyone else. He IS in the MK universe after all as a guest.

See, in my vocal class this year, we are focusing on stage techniques and trying to get our acting up to par with are singing and so, for my exam I am guessing we have to demonstrate what we learn through the year and apply it to our performance. Planning my 2009 Disney World vacation and would like some info on nearby Downtown Disney hotels that are actually walking distance to Downtown Disney. I am looking forward to becoming an imagineer for Disney one day, specifically in the “illusioneering” department. Illusioneering is pretty much responsible for making all the special effects you see through out any Disney ride such as the pirates of te caribbean fire, space mountain star field, haunted mansion ghosts etc.. Does anyone know how I can do little projects or learn how to do and create special effects/illusions. Thank you any help would be greatly appreciated.
We are going to Florida next week and were planning on visiting Disney World for a total of 3 days. I know we want to go to Animal Kingdom, but I am torn what other parks we should go to; Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, Epcott. I want to make sure we go to the parks that are suited best for a 5 year old.
