Coming next month from Image Comics, Revival is an all-new series set in the universe created from best-selling The Walking Dead comic series.
A three-page preview of Revival will be featured in The Walking Dead issue #99 with a follow up preview arriving shortly after. The five page teaser will be free from Image’s Free Comic Book Day, so that readers can get a glimpse of what is in store for them come the launch of Revival.
Revival is set in rural Wisconsin when a small town changes after one day where the dead come back to life. Unlike the standard cannibalistic zombies that are in The Walking Dead, Revival’s zombies look and act much as the did when they were alive. But as Officer Dana Cypress soon discovers, they are not completely who they used to be.
Revival, created by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, will be available July 11th, 2012. With monthly, full color issues at $2.99 backing it up. Be sure to check out the digital versions which will be released same day.

Hopefully this plays better than the last one.

I want to start by saying I have little to no drawing skill. I want to create outlines for comic book characters for a comic book I want to create. So is there any tutorials on the web or books that can help.
The comic book writers killed off Superman in ’95 or so in the comic book series. Fans of the comic, I understand, suggested four possible ways the superhero writers could resurrect him. A documentary I saw (History Channel, of course), said the writers managed to combine all four of these “reader suggestions” for bringing Superman back to life.
What are the details? What kind of sci-fi machinery and plot devices were used by the comic book writers to raise a Kryptonian alien from the dead?
I inherited a comic book collection and I’m trying to figure out the grade of each comic book. Does anyone know the best way to do this?
I’m looking for every possible reason why people read comics. What do they get out of it? Does comic book reading meet certain kinds of needs? Psychological needs even? What are your reasons for reading comics? What about comic book readers that you know?
I’m currently a teen and eternally a writer, at this point writing fiction (short stories and novels), but at some point I’d like to write for comic books. Particularly, the big superhero comics. Yeah, I had to choose the ambitious route.
So, how does one break into the industry? Also, is there any way to make the transition from traditional writing to comic book writing, say, if I wanted to start out my career doing novels and then move on to comic books?
I’m doing a research project for school and need some solid references of where to find what the demographic and psychographics are for comic book readers. Psychographics uses demographics to determine the attitudes and tastes of a particular segment of a population. These examine lifestyles: where people shop, how they spend their disposable income, which clubs/organizations they join, and more.
I am interested in publishing my comic book by want to copyright it so i don’t get screwed if it happens to take off. Any help would be great. Thanks.
