SteelSeries are launching a total of four items branded with the Guild Wars 2 logo. A Gaming Headset, Gaming Mouse, QcKMousepads, and finally a Gaming Keyboard to round out the full suite. They look absolutely beautiful with the white and red color scheme. There is no doubt in my mind that these peripherals will be relatively solid based on SteelSeries track.
The Gaming Mouse and Mousepad don’t really have any major technical feats that need to be touched upon. And the keyboard specifications are still unknown to the public. But, as far as the Gaming Headset goes, it has some pretty sound tech in it.
The Guild Wars 2 Headset features an on-ear design with red ear cushions made of a mesh. The Guild Wars 2 Headset uses SNDBlock material that delivers superbly engineered in-game sound via 40mm driver units. Which will most definitely deliver some ear-thumping noise or guarantee you’ll hear those footsteps in a friendly game of Call of Duty.
The headset includes a red 3.5mm PC cable connection with an in-line, omni-directional microphone and mute controls for gaming and online chat. For maximum flexibility, the Guild Wars 2 Headset also offers 2 input jacks – one on each side of the headset – which allows for two user options: to choose which side the microphone cable can be plugged into, and the ability to “daisy chain” or plug in another headset so that multiple users can listen to the game at once.

I want to get a computer that is strictly for gaming. I don’t trust myself building my own and I know alienware make the best gaming computers (correct me if I am wrong). Does the x51 meet the minimum specs that just came out for Guild Wars 2? I would probably get the $699 version if it can play but will probably do the $899 version if completely necessary.
So I’m getting a late christmas present and i think i want a new gaming headset. First off i don’t even see the point of gaming headsets or how thy help so if someone could explain that’d be cool. I was looking at either turtle beaches or tritton. My limit is below $180, but i dont really want to spend over 150 just on a gaming headset. What is the best headset to put out surround sound for gaming that does not cost an arm and a leg (astro). What are some good brands and reasons why?
Well, I guess my question is, Is it worth playing Guild Wars now seeing as Guild Wars 2 is coming out this year and also what does hall of monuments entail? I ask this because you can get rewards from hall of monuments in Guild Wars 2 from your original Guild Wars character.
Thanks!
Hi, I prefer it to be either Tritton or Turtle Beach. I want a gaming headset (sound and mic) that I can use on both my 360 and my PC. I would also prefer it to be surround sound quality. Thanks!

Are you guys sure that those work on PC? Those dont say that they are compatible, they just say Xbox 360 and PS3 on the sites.
