E3 2012 | Far Cry 3 Features 4-Player Co-Op, Map Editor

showed off some new features in 3 during the media briefing and, needless to say, they only add to a game that already looked incredible. Far Cry has been know for it’s lush jungle environments, tight gameplay, and of course the story. All of these seem to reign just as true in the third installment. Of course, these things are obvious and Ubisoft wanted to show something new to the franchise: 4-player cooperatve gameplay.

Crytek also revealed that Far Cry 3 will have a full-featured editor for it’s multiplayer component.

    Who is better in terms of graphcis ? If both were making a similar game for PS3 which dev would have the superior graphics engine ?

    It’s Ubisoft not Crytek behind the development of Far Cry 3 & has been since Far Cry 2 has it not. Crytek uses the CryEngine for Crysis & Ubisoft uses the Dunia Engine for Far Cry 2 & 3.

      Far Cry 2 & Far Cry 3 are both multi format releases & both use the Dunia Game Engine & both are developed by the same company i.e. Ubisoft. In terms of better graphics they should be both exactly the same, but I have been told by others & seen it myself that Far Cry 2 runs & looks better on Xbox 360 for some reason. I will be buying the Insane Edition of Far Cry 3 for Xbox 360 first & foremost.

    I just bought COD4 and am bored already. The maps are far too small for any kind of strategic gaming. The map editor is ridiculously complex. And why can’t you get up high in any of these buildings? I got to level 23 and quit.

    i have no qualifications, i look through the windows inside the office and i can see them developing the game on a pc, they make pc games like crysis and farcry
    i know how to setup proximity triggers

    Surely Crytek can run their own game Crysis at the highest settings possible with 60fps+ at a high resolution like 2560×1600 with some AA in order for them to think that regular computers will play them? What kind of video cards do Crytek use and where do they get them?

    I like it and I spend a lot of times with it…. I’m new in gaming world…. I used to play IGI few days ago… But, couldn’t play it fully as last level is about impossible to play…. Share your opinion about ‘Crysis 2′….

    It’s a very simple question, and i haven’t gotten a straight answer.
    I don’t mean co-op, I don’t mean online. I mean straight forward, 4 player split screen versus mode, every man for himself.

    On a 7 person bowling team, only 4 players can bowl at a time.

    a) How many different 4 player teams can be made?
    b) How many different bowling line-ups can be made?

    I am wanting to play COD4 with my friends in system link. I have 2 x-box 360′s that I can setup. We want to be able to play 4 on 4 matches on the two 360 consoles. Can we do 4 player splitscreen? I need answers from people that are positive.

    I am trying to figure out how you can play 4 player Nazi Zombies over system link. I have already tried with 2 Xbox’s connected, but it won’t let me sign in more than 1 account on each. All 4 accounts have beaten single player and unlocked Nazi Zombies. I haven’t tried 4 Xbox’s, but I have 4 if needed.

    I have settlers of catan with the expansion of 5-6 players. The regular number tiles have been mixed up with the expansion numbers so i can’t tell which ones to put on the board. There is two of every letter. How can i find out how to separate the tiles? the 2-4 player game from the 5-6 player?
    Any sites that show what numbers are for which game?

    Me and 3 friends have been searching for what seems a lifetime for what is the best 4 player co-operative game, and have had no luck
    The obvious ones like Gears of war + Call of Duty + Halo have already been done
    Appreciate some suggestions
