The producer of the Pinball FX2 franchise, Zen Studios, has announced the newest game to power up their presence on the Xbox Live Arcade platform.
CastleStorm is a two-dimensional RTS combining medieval combat and physics-based structure demolition. Players will be able to manage resources and engage in archery projectile warfare with ballista weaponry to defend themselves from enemies trying to topple their territory.
Exploding Morningstars and Apple Grenades aren’t CastleStorm’s only tools for victory. In the case that more of a charge is needed from your organized league of knights and swordsmen, spells can be cast to seize control of your conquest.
Mel Kirk, Vice President of Marketing and PR for Zen Studios, expresses the appeal of the publisher’s latest digital distribution:
“CastleStorm is frantic tower defense warfare with tons of weapons, enemies and characters. Fending off a barrage of Direwolves, Bear Riders and Hammer Throwers while destroying an enemy castle will make you laugh, think and adapt in order to survive.”
Zen Studios’ Creative Director, Neil Sorens, tapped into the childlike building-and-breaking fun of sand castles to provide a unique enhancement to the game. With an in-game tower construction editor, players can use to construct custom castles. The types of troops and armory made available to those forming their fortress will depend on certain choices made during its design.
Although Zen Studios will have a CastleStorm demonstration at this week’s E3 Expo, no official release date has been announced for the 2012 title. If you can’t be in Los Angeles for that, get a look at the gameplay with the trailer below.

My interest has been perked
How do I become good at playing these games and RTS genre games in general. I like all parts of Age of empires, and all both parts of Ground control and all parts of Homeworld (that is the best). I reach the levels that I just can’t beat after many tries and I lose the motivation to try anymore. Cheats more like ruin the game in a way. So what should I do than?

I have hostgator and zencart. Trying to build a website to give some basic info about our business which will soon have a storefront, we’ll offer automotive services as well as installations. I’m trying to build a cart where products can be sold online as well. I’ve built websites before, but it’s been a while and I’m not an expert by no means.
Can’t seem to find answers to my questions in the support by either hostgator of zencart.
How do I link the two and do I need to use the zen cart solely and make home, about us, contact us pages with zen cart? or do that with the site studio from hostgator and somehow link zen cart for when a customer clicks on a product. Any help is appreciated.Thanks.
that’s what I was thinking……how do i get zencart to come up when one enters my domain address? zencart address is currently http://www.mydomain.com/zencart………..

Last night, being bored, I wrote details of my own dream house:
Contemporary. Spacious. Natural light everywhere. Overlooking a sea from the cliff. The beach end of the house faces west. Secluded. The house is for one occupant, two-three maximum.
Private beach below. Wooden stairs lead down from the cliff to the boardwalk that connects to the jetty, where my yacht moors. Boat shack containing canoes and kayaks. Sea glass in abundance.
Three story, with greenhouse and observatory on the roof. Master bedroom will be in a indoor atrium, which is from the second floor to the third floor. Inclosed by floor to ceiling glass window that commands the view of the beach.
Third floor: Library, with the staircase leading to the roof. It has rare collections of art books, novels, art, science and National Geographic magazines, and a section devoted to comic books, mangas and animes.
Second floor: bedroom, art studio, mini bar, private gallery. The bedroom and the art studio connects openly, with glass ceiling above. Contemporary wooden staircase leads from art studio to the balcony of the third floor library.
Lavatory next to bathroom, shares the view of the beach. Toilet bowl should be facing the view, so while I’m defecating I’ll have something beautiful to look at (like sunset, the blue horizon or stars at night).
First floor: Bathroom, living room, billiard room, game room, PC room, kitchen, dining area, guest bedroom. The garage connects to dining area.
The front door and the garage door leads into the walled courtyard, with heavily secured parameter: security camera, guard station, sensory detecter, and iron gate.
The courtyard contains a rock garden, and a zen-like fountain. Gravel car road leads from the garage through the iron gate.
Ground area: Sauna, connected to the house. Biking and hiking trail that leads into wildlife area. Marsh not far, with a boat shack that contains kayaks.
The platform juts out from the base of the second floor, over the cliff. The library on the third floor overlooks it through the glass. The master bedroom area is behind the platform, separated by the glass sliding doors. The platform is long and wide enough to have a outdoor pool, an equipment shack (which is against the house), and a fire pit.

I want to become fully certified in yoga. 7 levels I believe.
Aside from a yoga school, I have the additional option to work privately with a yoga teacher who happens to be a master(fully certified) in a handful of yoga styles and has been doing this for 40 years. He is as well certified to certify people in yoga. He teaches classes but doesn’t take time to certify people, though he does on occasion one person, not as a whole class. Ive taken many of his classes.
SO….Im trying to decide which I prefer. Working with him which would be at a YMCA studio or go to an actual school.
Pros and cons
The school…would have the zennish yoga atmosphere I love. Teaches the poses and the book aspect of it)anatomy, etc.) Books would be extra. It takes 250hrs to be certified in each level and is done on the weekends. I will be able to say I went to a legit school.
Privately with yoga master….He has great certification, great at what he does. He is tough and not zen like and focuses more on alignment, not so much on the flow style(which I prefer to teach).
Says he will have me fully certified in a year(all 7 levels). However, because he is a teacher will work only a couple hours/week with me. I will be documenting the hours I spend in various other yoga classes to make up for the required hours. Which I can do pretty comfortably. The “other” classes will be varied in style. Because he is tough, he will push me harder(Ive taken a private class with him once). I believe he can make me tough and really good. He will teach me the terms, proper alignment and what yoga moves are good for what ailment(his thing, I will probably choose to teach flow yoga, though) but wouldn’t mind having his training. It will be private so it will be all about me.
I do worry having been certified in this way, will make it harder for me to get work until I open my own studio,of course. Some people Ive talked to think the private classes are better. The book work aspect I will have to do online. he will tell me which schools are best for that online.
Another concern is he recently had a heart attack. He is no spring chicken and what if something happens to him? Where would I go? Lose my money? Start all over?
Apparently his heart attack was the result of some back issue which he is having surgery for soon. It crushed his chest or something like that. I think he has 3 herniated disks.
Overall, it seems it will cost a little more to work with him instead of a school. The beneifts I think will come of it, is I am the onyl student, he is tough and will push me hard. Is it worth it and realy better? I diont know. If it is, I am willing to spend the extra buck.
Thanks for reading all this.
South Park uses Autodesk Maya to do what is essentially 2D animation. After all this time and success, what is the advantage to using a 3D program in doing 2D animation? If you say “because it is what they are used to,” don’t bother answering.
A friend and i have been planning on making an mmorpg we just need to make a engine to start but we don’t know how; does anybody know how to make a 3d engine or evern a 2d please 10pts to the besta answer.
I need a flash-drive MP3 player mainly for use in the gym but I’d also like to be able to play the music through a sound system.I was thinking of the Creative Zen V. 3 questions:
1. Can I play a flash-drive player through any sound system or just a computer? It looks to me as though Creative’s docking station is for their Hard Drive players.
2. The difference between the Zen V and Zen V Plus is that the second plays video clips. Sounds a nice extra but what would I actually use it for??
3. Will it definitely work with ITunes on my Mac (I also have a PC but I will need to download my home studio stuff from Itunes). I ruled out the ipod Nano because there’s no radio for more money.
Sorry, you don’t have to answer all the above – just what you know about. Thanks
A few days ago I moved into my new apartment/studio. It’s really big for a college dorm, something like 90 square feet, and I already have most of the furniture: queen size bed, desk, TV+stand, couch, salon table, make-up table, closet, bar. But the walls are still white, I’m unsure how to decorate them?
Although my personal style varies between Indie, Punk, Ska and Surf, I’m not sure what to do with the room. I’d like it to look cozy and lived-in, but at the same time, I want it to look spacey and Zen. Also, I’ll be studying in here, which means I can’t have too much clutter lying around, but I have a design major and I want my room to be inspirational.
Lastly, there’s the “growing up” issue. I’ll have to keep this place for at least three more years and while I’d like to make look “fun”, I don’t want to regret painting the walls purple or something like that. In fact, I’d rather not paint the walls fully, perhaps only a few small shapes.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do with my room? The walls are what I’m most uncertain about, but I’d also love to read some tips on other things to make my room look better
The dark knight rises will not be available in 3d only in IMAX and 2D, so what is the difference between imax and 2d besides the $9 markup on the tickets?
What is the best 2d rpg/mmorpg maker to use with online play that has free servers/clients so i can have my game on the net for everyone to play?
If a device with 2D batteries shocked someone while washing their hands, could it kill them? I accidentally got shocked while washing my hands. I didn’t die, obviously. I am wondering if it could have?
