Publisher Activision looks like it has one of its strongest line-ups at E3 ever this year at E3 2012. They’ll be showcasing many well known fan favorites like Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Skylanders Giants, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
Not to be outdone by the largely anticipated titles like the previously mentioned, titles like The Amazing Spider-Man, 007 Legends, and Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse will also be present at the Activision booth this year.
It’s no mystery that Black Ops 2 is a largely anticipated title among games in general, but especially so among the FPS category. We’ve largely seen Call of Duty take us back to the days of the World War and to the present and modern, but for the first time ever we’ll be propelled to the future. Black Ops 2 will take take us to the year 2025. We’ll see advanced weaponry and robot and drone warfare. Black Ops 2 will introduce branching story lines for the first time ever in the franchise’s history and will also feature a heavy sandbox-style of gameplay. Still yet to be unveiled are the zombies and multiplayer modes for Black Ops 2. Hopefully we at least get a sneak peek of the two at this years E3.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be releasing for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Skylanders Giants will also be a strong frontrunner at the Activision booth this year. Skylanders Giants is the sequel to the best-selling game of 2012 as well as the best-selling children’s game of 2011. Expanding upon the lineup of collectible characters from Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, Giants will introduce 16 new characters. Giants will introduce new Hero Challenges, more Battle Mode gameplay, and across the board integration between console, handheld, and mobile.
Skylanders Giants will be releasing for Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and mobile devices
Another largely anticipated title from Activision is Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Fall of Cybertron will take us back to the days when the autobots and decepticons were waging a war over control of their home planet, Cybertron. Players will fight on both sides of the war and experience the fall of a once magnificent and powerful utopia. Fall of Cybertron features the deepest customization in a Transformers game to date. After creating your own unique characters, fight against the autobots and decepticons online with your friends in a high action online experience. PC fans fear no more. Developer High Moon Studios is working hand in hand with developer Mercenary Technology to roll out a PC version of Fall of Cybertron for the eager and passionate PC fanbase.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be releasing for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on August 28th.
CEO of Activision Publishing, Eric Hirschberg said that
The level of creativity driving video games has never been greater. Our industry has the greatest talent in the world and E3 gives us all a chance to showcase the innovative titles that will continue to make games the leading form of entertainment today. This year’s line-up is one of our strongest, and we can’t wait for our fans to see for themselves.
I could not agree more with Hirschberg. It’s a very impressive line-up of blockbuster triple a titles. If you’re attending E3 2012 be sure to check out the Activision booth for yourselves at the South Hall in booth #647.

Hi there,I enjoy reading through your article post, I wanted to write a little comment to support you!
Like is there levels and you beat all of the levels then you win the game?
Also, can you beat the game Skylanders: Spyro’s Universe for PC? Or is it just like all those little mini games? Do you beat it if you finish all the levels in castle defense and the catapult? And/Or if you buy EVERYTHING you can for your skyland? Please tell me the situation on that.
What is Skylanders: Giants? Is it something inside Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, or is it a whole new game? Again, can you beat the game?
If you don’t understand i mean that you can’t put a giant on spyros skylanders adventure but will the 8 new regular skylanders on Skylanders giants be able to be played on spyros skylanders adventure.
I would love to see what some of you think about my video game collection. I know its not perfect, but I have to make sacrifices somewhere. For instance, I know I don’t have a PS3. This does not mean that I hate PS3s and I think 360′s are better, I simply got a 360 when they first came out and haven’t wanted to dish out that much money for the PS3. So please don’t unnecessarily flame me. Anyways, heres my collection.

Don’t Tell Me To Call The Store And Ask Or Go To The Store And Ask, I Want To Know What You Think I Could Get For All This Stuff.
I would love to have more n64 games on my wii, but eventually Nintendo only puts 1 almost every month. All im asking is when do you guys will think games like The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Donkey Kong 64, Golden eye 007, nad more will come in?
I haven’t heard anything about it. Will I have to get new skylanders, or can I use the older ones? I realize there will be new skylanders, atleast I imagine there will be.
Are the series 2 skylanders only going to have this power or are the series one are also going to have it
About the light core what kind of extra powers are they going to have
Activision is coming out with Skylander Giants. I’m not looking to buy a new video game, so do the giant figures work on the Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure video game for the Wii?
I want to know the best, and I mean THE BEST, N64 games out there.
I just got a used N64 last week. I used to have one but it disappeared out of nowhere some years ago. So I have played this system A LOT back in the day but it has been a while, so I need you guys to refresh my memory.
These are the games I have right now:
Banjo Kazooie
Donkey Kong 64
Perfect Dark
Starcraft 64 (But I don’t like this game)
And I know some of the oubvious ones like:
Banjo Tooie
Conker’s Bad Fur Day
GoldenEye 007
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Best game of all time)
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
Can you guys think of anymore? Cause it’s been a while…
List off the games you like and tell me why they are good. This would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
If you don’t understand i mean that you can’t put a giant on spyros skylanders adventure but will the 8 new regular skylanders on Skylanders giants be able to be played on spyros skylanders adventure.
Hello, my name is Nathan, and I LOVE video games. I’m sure every kid says that, but I say it with meaning, and heart. I’m turning 16, and I was going to ask my parents for some cool video games for my birthday. They said, “What happened to all those video games you’ve played?” Well, I’ve beaten them all, they’ve released new series, and so on. I was bored this weekend and made a list. A list of every video game I have ever played. I played my first video game in December of 1998, the Gameboy Advance, ever since then, video games are everything to me. According to my list, I have played a total of 480 video games. Below is a list of 150 games… but what I really want to know is, is there any way to estimate how much time of my life I have spent playing video games, and what my life would be like if I never touched one? SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE. I put a lot of time and effort into this personal project. Thank you.

Nintendo wastes time on it’s Miiverse and Wii u.
Microsoft Talks about a south park game and a boring dancing game.
And playstation disapoints with limited hardware and a lineup not even the angry video game nerd would like.
