  1. I think they do. First of all in Soulcalibur 4 both Yoda (360) and Darth Vader (PS3) were exclusive to each version. But then Namco releases them as downloadable, then I hear both characters were on the opposite system they werent exclusive to on the disc. Why couldnt both games be the same. Then there is there Katamari series. Instead of going multiplat for them they make one game exclusive then make a new game exclusive (instead of going multiplat and making more sales). But then there is their RPGs. Like Tales of Vesperia (great game). First of all Namco put it on the Xbox, then ported to the PS3. Its not a bad decision I do not think. What is bad for people who bought the Xbox version the PS3 version has more content. They might not even release the Vesperia port in the US. Not to mention Tales of Symphonia was ported to the PS2 in Japan only. The only RPG that got ported and released along with the original version is Eternal Sonata. The only game I am aware of that got ported for their fighting games but did not get exclusive content was both Soulcalibur (the first one, it was on the Dreamcast but then got ported to Xbox Live Arcade) and Tekken 6 (was ported from PS3 to 360, its also coming to PSP). So What Do You Think of Namco (Namco Bandai Games)? Do They Rip People/Consumers Off???
I have never played their Katamari games neither have I played Tekken. I have played Soulcalibur, this is about their history. Namco wonders why their games dont sell, but they seem to not have a clue… I think they make some great games but still.
Take a look at Japan, Japan whined about Tales of Vesperia cause they were forced to buy a 360 just for that game. But then Namco decided to port it to PS3. Once again this is not bad but they added exclusive content to it. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because Sony would not let them just port it. Also I am not worried about getting ripped off, because me and my brother share a 360 and my mom has a PS3. So I could buy most Namco games with exclusive content.

Originally i wanted to get into contact with Flight-Plan but when i finally found the link for the website, it said the servers could not be found. Eventually, after translating through Japanese pages, apparently Flight-Plan is out of business. So my only other hope is to get into contact with NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. in Japan (NOT the American one….i want to contact them about a Japanese only based game so it would be pointless to talk to the American one, in my opinion.) So far i can only find an email for the American based buildings.

    Flight-Plan website link: http://www.flight-plan.jp/~fp/index.html
The news article about Flight-Plan: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://jin115.com/archives/51758811.html&ei=TMlTTtLdHuGKsALcwOmjBw&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=7&ved=0CGEQ7gEwBg&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%25E3%2583%2595%25E3%2583%25A9%25E3%2582%25A4%25E3%2583%2588%25E3%2583%25BB%25E3%2583%2597%25E3%2583%25A9%25E3%2583%25B3%2B%25E3%2583%2595%25E3%2583%25A9%25E3%2582%25A4%25E3%2583%2588%2B%25E3%2583%2597%25E3%2583%25A9%25E3%2583%25B3%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1179%26bih%3D566%26prmd%3Divns
(apparently it was destroyed when that earthquake/Tsunami happened =/ )

So if anyone could provide me with a way to contact the Publishers of the Summon Night series ( Flight-Plan were the developers) I would be very happy.

  3. I will tell you who, me. The only company I have seen who has done this with console video games is Namco Bandai. Do you want more rpgs to be anime style. Answer with a paragraph, and say why or why not.

  4. I’ve always wanted a 00 GUNDAM w/ a Raiser. There was one time when I was looking for it, I found 00 Gundam and It was only the last one. So I bought It just to insure that I will have one. But, there was a slight catch. The Version I bought was only 00-GUNDAM and doesn’t include a 0-RAISER. So I came to ask you Is there a 0-RAISER only model that is sold?

Kunimitsu has long been a favorite character of mine in the Tekken series, but she’s been gone from the series since Tekken 2(not counting her non-canonical appearance in Tekken Tag Tournament). Namco Bandai has never explained what happened to her or why she was dropped from the roster.

Most people simply assume she was killed by Yoshimitsu or Ogre, but there is no official proof of this. Even in Tekken 5, when so many old characters returned to the roster like Wang, Bruce, and Ganryu, Kunimitsu was nowhere to be seen. What gives Namco?

The odds of Jun and Michelle coming back are practically non-existent, because Asuka and Julia have taken their place with the same fighting styles, but Kunimitsu had unique moves and her own style, especially after TTT, but still, she hasn’t come back.

Its clear that Kunimitsu is not in the arcade version of Tekken 6/ Bloodline Rebellion, but Namco Bandai staff have commented that they are adding new exclusive content to the console iterations of the game, with the possibility of more characters included. This is the best chance for Kunimitsu to come back.

With all of that said, do you want Kunimitsu to return in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Tekken 6?

  6. I’ve been waiting so long for the 6th installment of the franchise and I hope that Namco-Bandai won’t launch it as a PS3 exclusive.Heck, they did it on Soul Calibur 4, so why not this one too?

  7. I’m looking forward to some DLC like DICE’s Battlefield 3 expansion packs, Bethesda’s Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim, as well as From Software’s Artorias of the Abyss DLC for Dark Souls. I plan on downloading all of these for my ps3. Are DLC for the ps3 these days region locked or it just depends on the game because I used to own some Asian versions of games and when I downloaded DLC using my American account it worked, however there were times when I downloaded DLC for some of my Asian version games wherein the DLC didn’t work. Pls, I need some good answers since I don’t want to end up spending money only to discover that I can’t play the game’s DLC.
    Thank you in advance.

  8. i was looking at some pictures of artorias the abyss walker from dark souls and thought he would be an awesome cosplay. the thing is that i have never done a armor related cosplay, and i could even think of going into that much detail with cardboard. therefor i wanted to know what the best material would be? keep in mind it would help if you looked at a picture of him.

  9. Honestly, I’m quite sure that other PC gamers and Tekken fans like me are getting pissed off at Namco Bandai Games, many pc gamers do own Ps2 or can use emulator to play Tekken 5 but now it’s time to move on to Tekken 6, PC’s are the future of gaming, everyone knows that but Namco Bandai wouldn’t listen to us. I still play Tekken 5 on my Ps2 and honestly I cannot buy Ps3 or Xbox360 just for 1 game. I’d love to play Tekken 6 on my pc so would other pc gamers.

  10. Gameguru.com says there will only be one in Europe, they even have a quote from Bandai Namco, but this could be false. Can someone help me please!
