I spent the weekend surrounded by nerds and geeks alike at the Houston comic convention known as Comicpalooza. This year’s convention showcased the plethora of talent that the south had to offer, from colorists to illustrators, the level of penmanship was beyond amazing.
One such comic book company that stood out to us was Red 5 Comics, apart from their gorgeous covers and eye-popping graphics, the fact that I’d actually read some of their work perked my interest.
Red 5 Comics is the creation of Paul Ens, former director of Lucasfilm’s StarWars.com and Lucas Online and Scott Chitwood, co-founder of TheForce.net and contributor to ComingSoon.net and SuperHeroHype.com.

Their flagship title, Atomic Robo, recently had its first volume free as a reward for GameStop subscribers, so check it out! Being an Eisner nominated title, Atomic Robo is a beautifully written comic that’s already 6 volumes deep.
As a current Houstonian, my chest swelled with pride to know that a company of such high caliber existed under the same smoggy air that we did. Having their work on Amazon, Comixology,Graphic.ly, Panelfly and Comics +, the company has proved that their short length of time in the industry is in no way a handicap.
As we make a push to provide our readers with more comic book news and reviews, be prepared to see Red 5 Comics’ name pop up quite a bit!

With DC comics adding so many color lanterns corps with different emotions, it’s just getting cheesy. Before the green lantern energy was just some green cosmic energy that the little blue guys collected. Now it’s the physical color of will power. Wouldn’t envy be green not will power? All the other colors are just basic human emotions; love, hate, fear. But will power isn’t a basic human emotion. Will power is in the same league as being focused, determination, perseverance, a state of mind not an emotion.
This is the best list of all the new lanterns colors. Isn’t blue and indigo the same thing?
1-Green= Willpower (Green Lanterns)
2-Blue= Hope (Blue Lanterns)
3-Indigo= Compassion
4-Violet= Love (Star Sapphire)
5-Orange= Greed (Agent orange)
6-Yellow= fear (Sinestro Corps)
7-Red=Rage (Red Lanterns)
I’m trying to figure out when it cost 5 cents so that I can get an estimated year on an old Captain Marvel Comic book that I have. The book is old with a page or two missing, so I do not see the date.
I couldn’t find anything by Google.
Oh, BTW, I’m not comic book guru, just thinking about selling it on Ebay and would like to list it correctly. Thanks!

I found a comic called Atomic Robo vs. Dr. Dinosaur and I cant find the site that I got it from anymore. It was from a whole series and I really want to find the rest of them. If anyone can provide me with the link it would be greatly appreciated.
Heres a link to where the first one is:

I dont know if there worth anything. My friend sold a seag saturn game for 75$ on ebay and I was JW about these two games…
X-Men
and
Atomic Robo-Kid
Robo-Kid’s picture is kinda damaged nothin really bad though
and XMens picture is sorta damaged nothin really noticable
I can’t afford them all. Which should I choose: Wolverine: Old Man Logan, Death of Captain America, The Sword, or Atomic Robo?
This song is a rap song where the rapper talks about becoming president, how he invented the atomic bomb, how he discovered chemestry and crazy intellectual stuff like that. I think the name of the band has robo in it, but i’m not sure. This song kind of starts out slow and then really builds up. The rapper speaks very clearly.
Not straight-up robots, human-shaped metal men and women, or armor, or cyborgs and really humanoid robots; like if someone was attracted to knights in armor or humanoid yet metallic characters like Colossus, Dr. Doom, Iron Man, Bionicles, Cyborg (TT), Metallo, Atomic Robo, and Alphonse Elric, but not characters like Johnny 5, General Grievous, Transformers, Sentinels, Terminators (just the metal skeletons with no flesh), Gundams, the Iron Giant, or anything else blatantly robotic (which would be considered “technophiles”).
I was considering putting it down under xenophilia, but it wasn’t accepted because in the sense it’s being used it only applies to sentient humanoid “creatures” that are not actually human (Predators, Twi’ Leks, Nightcrawler, etc. but not xenomorphs or other extra-terrestrial animals). But General Grievous was accepted as xenophilia and not technophilia because he was originally organic and his cyborg form isn’t humanoid enough.
@SinCere:
LOL, I mean besides that.
It’s for a human sexuality project, so a serious answer would be quite helpful.
Who do you guys would win in a fight between these two very similar characters?
