I usually buy Gala apples. Least week I bought a few and all of them were mushy. They must have been stored in a warehouse for months and months. Which apples do you buy in the winter? I’m in Central California. Texture is my biggest concern. I like a fresh, crisp apple. Thank you.

The apple juice I buy is called “Simply Apple” and is made from actual apples. The average apple contains about 10% daily value of vitamin C and yet the whole bottle contains none. What could be the reason for that?
By the way, I know they sell fortified apple juices, but I don’t like those.

I am asking about how it is made. What is different about how it is made that makes it in to two different products? I know that apple cider is the juice from pressed apples with little filtering. Cider starts out clear then turns brown over a short period of time, much like a half eaten apple would. What about apple juice?

It would be nice if I could eat an apple in the morning to wake me up, but every time I do, my stomach hurts really bad. I think it’s cause the apple is acidic and I have an empty stomach in the morning. Is there any thing I could eat before I eat the apple to stop this? Apples, or fruit in general, never make my stomach hurt if it’s during the day or at night if I’ve previously eaten.
    Thanks.

I have an apple tree in my yard that doesn’t produce the best tasting apples, but I would still love to make a tasty apple pie with them. Is there any secret to make them taste better? (ex: soaking them in apple juice to get some flavoring?)

Also, I love canned apple filling. Therefore, I want my apple pie to be really gooey and not dried out. What are your best tips?

First time making an apple pie. Any suggestions to make it the best would be helpful. Thanks!

Lets say all apples in a particular country are collected in Septemeber. Also, this country does not import apples from other countries where apples are fresh and in season. Would the apple juice I drink in May be from the apples picked in Septmenber? If so, then there must be a lot of perservatives to keep it from going bad.Isn’t that bad for my health?

I have a recipe that calls for apple cider. I have apple juice and apple nectar although I don’t know the difference between any of them.
    Thanks for your help.
This is an American recipe I’m using.

  9. Is there a way to make apple cider from apple juice? I know it wouldn’t “technically” be cider because of the processing and the apples aren’t the first of the season, but I’m basically looking for the things I could add to apple juice to make it more cider-like. I assume cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and other spices and stuff, but I just wondered if anyone had a recipe or additional ingredients. Thanks!

I want to make caramel apples like at the rocky mountain chocolate factory. my favorite one so far is the apple pie caramel apple, and I would like to know how to make it step by step, and also would like to know all of the ingredients in order to make it. Some people call it caramel apple pie on a stick or just apple pie caramel apple. no stupid or dumb answers/remarks please.

Also it doesnt matter what type of apple every apple makes me feel sick. It is a recent thing. Only over the past 3 years this has happened before i used to love apples i ate one or two everyday. But for some reason i stopped doing that for around a month and the next time i had a apple it made me feel sick and it still makes me sick to eat apples. What is wrong with me?

I don’t have any apple juice concentrate but I do have apple juice. The recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of concentrate.

  15. I am making Paula Deen’s Apple Pie and it calls for 7 medium apples. What type of apples should i use? I have heard that it is good to use a mixture of different types? Is this true?

  16. Im thinking about all the different types of jobs that are assocciated with Apple and I am wondering if a job for Apple would be a good thing to look into. How long (in years) is Apple expected to be on the incline or in the “high business” range? Will Apple be the company to keep up with society? It seems as if they have progressed quite impressively with the public and society’s demands. How well will they keep up their creativity?
