Solid Snake Sneaks onto Vita June 29th

Good news owners, the Solid HD Collection is officially arriving June 29th.

Get ready to portably sneak your way around HD versions of the PS2  Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. MGS3 just so happens to be one of my favorite games of all time and the ability to play it anywhere is pretty enticing.

The collection features ‘Transfarring’ which allows you to take your save from the PS3 version and continue the on the go on Vita and vice versa. Of course that means you’ll basically have to have two copies of the but it’s still a cool feature.

Metal Gear Soild HD Collection for Vita arrives June 29th so mark your calendar if you want to get your stealth on.

    I never played metal gear 2 and 3 but i own Peace Walker on psp. So is this collection worth buying or even asking for for Christmas. Also in the future would they release a 1-4 collection? Bottom Line is is it worth it or not

    I heard you can’t pause cutscenes in MGS HD. So can you pause cutscenes using the PS button on the games in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, similar to how you can pause cutscenes with some other PS3 games using the PS button?

    I only have the money to buy one. I am a big fan of both games mostley metal gear but i also love Zelda..Which one D; Metal gear hd has 3 games in one and is my favorite series but Zelda has an entirely new story and is my 2nd favorite game series which ONE ;(

    Don’t ask how or why, but haven’t played the Metal Gear series yet and wanted to give the HD collection a try. Is it any good and is it good for a beginner like myself?

    I have been a fan of Metal Gear Solid since I was 7 years old, and have truly admired Hideo Kojima and his work since then. But at E3, he says he’s selling out and making Metal Gear Solid on Xbox. This confuses me because Hideo has always been very loyal to Sony. He has touched on a few Nintendo projects but that is where Metal Gear originated, so I understand that. I don’t understand why he would do this. And I am not afraid that this will be Earth-shattering or anything, for as far as I know, this game will be a silly crap spin-off that barely deserves the title of Metal Gear Solid, but it really is the principle of the matter.
