Labeled as Sony’s answer to the Super Smash Bros. franchise, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will feature characters such as Nathan Drake, Kratos, Sly, Fat Princess, and others duking it out on the battlefield for fame, glory, and bragging rights. Recently, during an interview with Digital Trends, Game Director Omar Kendall teased the possibility of a Vita version.
We’ll know for sure in two short weeks at E3.

Hi, i’m 13 years old from the Midwest of United States and really thinking about my future. i already planned on working for SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America) and this morning, i thought about what i’d have to go through to successfully buy a big house, like built from the ground. PLEASE HELP!
Does anyone know how to bring suit vs. SCEA as a mass venture? Obviously, most people don’t have the resources, but with a huge amount of plaintiffs it should be possible.
Everyone I know that owns a PS3 game system has had it shut down after 1 year of use. I have had mine “get fried” twice now and both times have been after 1 year to the month of use. This can not just be coincidence. I am starting to believe the rumors that SCEA engineered the PS3 to malfunction on purpose. Every year we have to repair or replace the system if we want to continue to use it…and to rediculous repair costs ($150+ American dollars).
So anyone have some legal knowlege in class-action lawsuits?
I don’t know why some people bother to answer when they have absolutely nothing to contribute besides some stupid opion that does not answer the question, but I’ll humor them anyways….
I do not mistreat the game system. It sits on a shelf in the vertical position. It is never moved. There are no heat sources near it. There are no obstructions to the vents. I am not an addict. I most often play 1 game only. Occasionally, I may rent something, but no more than twice per year. I work a full time job with lots of OT. There is no reason why the PS3 should malfunction.

There’s no way that sales will double, even with a $100 price cut. It’s still $20 more than the Xbox 360 Elite that has a hard drive twice as big. And it’s still twice the price of the Wii, which is becoming the most popular system.
How can Sony think that this will double sales?
I have the Original PSP model. I’ve had it for about 2 years or so. My warranty is long expired but that’s not of my major concern. I just want my Psp fixed. The colored buttons work fine, as do the shoulder buttons. Due to a spilled juice drink my psp hasn’t been working the same since…obviously lol. All the buttons below the screen do not work at all.. and i cant get onto the internet before it closing automatically. How can i get my psp repaired from SCEA themselves instead of a third party retail store?
and also does Best BuyGeek-Squadad fix PSP’s?

I’m a bit disappointed with Sony since it looks like a straight-up Super Smash Bros clone. I really hope they do a lot to differentiate PASBR to SSB. There’s so many possibilities but right now, it looks pretty bleak for this game. I’m still going to get it though

I mean what’s with the hate for this game and I know it’s a ripped off of super smash bros. but it’s not a bad thing you know and they are getting ideas and make it better and it’s finally time that Sony has their own version of this game or franchise and now it will be cool to play as Sony characters in all fighting game & I think it will be better than any other super smash bros. cause they are improving the game of what wrong with super smash bros & make it better and make it’s own and they are taking the next step and the online will be much better than brawls cause brawl online lag like hell but this game will be much better . Super Smash Bros. is arguably one of the best series of games ever made. Now that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is coming out I was wondering what characters you’d have liked to see in a similar game. They can be from anything. They could be from a game from any platform, any generation, and anime or manga character, a comic book hero or even someone from a book =O

- Sora from Kingdom Hearts.
- Black Rock Shooter would be so badass.
- Fayt Leingod and Sophia Esteed from Star Ocean: Till the end of time.

I can only think of Cole from Infamous and maybe Sackboy.
They say Sony always copies Nintendo like with the Wii, even though the Playstation Move was under development first in 2000 and a year later Nintendo develops the Wii.
Plus, Nintendo wasnt the first company to have a game with all the original characters, look at Sega Fighters Megamix.
And lastly, Nintendo should be grateful that Sony made this game. In the trailer video it was tagged with “SSB” It kind of seems like its almost a tribute to Smash Bros, doesnt it?

Whats the difference between Europe, America and Inc games. What i mean is, when you boot up a psx game, and the initial screen that comes up dissapears, you see a black screen that says ‘Sony computer entertainment [europe, america, inc]

Is there only going to be 12 characters, or are they not done announcing. I loved ssbb on the Wii, and this game on the Playstation 3 has so many more possibilities (more characters, much better graphics, online multiplayer via Playstation Network, and trophies.) I really ope they don’t screw this up! Also include characters you want them to announce.

AKA Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, the PS3 smash bros clone with playstation and a few third party characters
First thing is that I already have an xbox (which I regret getting instead of ps3)
Second thing is that Im only 14 so it takes me forever to get money for stuff
And third thing is that I only know like 10 games I want for ps3 which are Tales of graces f, tales of xillia, tales of xillia 2, ni no kuni, the last of us, lil big planet, lil big planet karting, the last of us, playstation all star battle royale, and blade and soul. However i am debating if I should get inFamous and uncharted as I am not a fan of shooters/ short games.
I don’t play on multiplayer at all and only buy games meant to be single player.
Anyways, idk If I should buy a ps3 now, the future console (ps4) may have backwards compatibility so I would have bought a ps3 for nothing. And idk if 10 games is worth it (is it?) If not then can someone recommend more ps3 exclusives that aren’t shooters and is over 20 hours if you have the time? Thanks

I would add Spyro, crash (if both are possible), croc, those big foot looking guys from uncharted, big sister (bioshock), handy man (bioshock 3), Angelica Fox(from Sly clooper, and I hope I didnt get her name mixed up), El jeffe (sly 4), Zeus (Gow), captain quark (ratchet and clank), Dr. Naferous (From ratchet, and clank, and I think that I misspelled his name somehow), and Altair (Assassins creed, and since Ezio is already on soul cailibur 5). So any thoughts?:) Note: If I see any rants about how this game stole from super smash bros, then I will ignore them. I mean, come on? I love smash bros too, however its not like your working for nintendo and your losing money from this. Lighten up.
