Latest Graphic Novella from Image is ‘Enormous’

Big things are going down in the latest  /Shadowline graphic novella by Tim Daniel and Mehdi Cheggour…literally. Its not zombies that have left civilization in ruins this time around…but rather colossal sized beasts spawned from a “cataclysmic ecological event”. In Enormous, humans are an endangered species, scraping out a desperate existence while being hunted by the over-sized creatures that now dominate the world.

“By the time we enter the world of Enormous, being at the bottom of the food-chain is something humans have been experiencing for a while,” said Daniel in an April interview with Comic Book Resources. “As a result, there is no consensus around how we’re going to survive as a species…”

The story centers around the character of Ellen Grace, braving the ruins of civilization to rescue lost children and bring them to safety. However, there are other dangers in this post-apocalyptic world besides the “megafauna”…other humans.

“There are a few human factions, each operating with a fairly distinct agenda, the motivations of which may well be far beyond their understanding,” Daniel added. “Regardless of what might prove to be the driving force for each character, the law of the land is simple: hunt or be hunted.”

Cheggour, a Morroccan artist who caught Daniel’s attention with his Morning Glories fan art, brings the world of Enourmous to terrifying life. The 64-page saddle-stitched graphic novella (presented in an appropriately over-sized “treasury” format) is set to hit store shelves on July 5.

If you’ve seen my old question, this is a revised question. Who is the best one?

  2. I’m in a standard league with 2 running backs, and I already have Darren McFadden in my rb1 position, so which of these 3 should I start this week in my RB2 slot?

    I have:
    Felix jones vs Washington
    Tim Hightower at Dallas
    And Daniel Thomas at Cleveland

I’m leaning towards Daniel Thomas @ cle since Dallas has done well against the run and Felix jones has shoulder issues this week, but any good reasons why I should start Hightower or jones might change my opinion

  4. QB- Tom Brady
    WR- Calvin Johnson
    WR- Wes Welker
    RB- MJD
    RB- HighTower
    TE- Aaron Hernandez
W/R- Jordy Nelson, James Starks, Stevan Ridley, Myrshawn Lynch

    Basically I’m looking for a RB 2

  5. Considering its size and population the rainswept island of Britain has given the world proportionately more than any other nation on
    earth.
Britain has given the world its number 1 international language.English is the native language for millions throughout the planet and the 2nd language for billions more.
We invented Parliamentary Democracy and legal systems – since adopted by nations throughout the world.
Isaac Newton and his theories on gravity, maths, astronomy, physics, laws of motion, optics & prisms are still used as the basis for all science worldwide.
Charles Darwins’ Theory of Evolution transformed human beings understanding of ourselves and our place in the natural world. More recently in the 1980s Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web.
ritain started the Industrial Revolution with all its world changing pioneering engineering, mechanical, manufacturing and scientific techniques – the world’s first steam engine, first train etc…..
The sports of cricket, rugby, and football (the worlds’ favourite game) all came from Britain.
More importantly,Britain gave the world punk rock, heavy metal, glam rock, psychadelia, the punk/ska two tone revolution and street styles and fashions-’tudors’ (teddy boys), skinheads (the proper ones),mods, punks, goths, new romantics – most now found throughout the world.
Britain has produced a mass of internationally renowned literature which has since passed into folklore. This includes Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’ which first introduced to the world the concept of the zombie.Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’ was the world’s first ‘undead’ vampire.
British literature bequeathed the classics of Shakespeare, and Charles Dickens (A Christmas Carol/Scrooge,Oliver Twist,Great Expectations),works by Roald Dahl (Matilda,Charlie & The Chocolate Factory,The Witches) and HG
Wells(The Time Machine,War Of The Worlds) Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan,The Hobbit,Lord Of The Rings,Sherlock Holmes,Brave New World,Narnia,Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe,Golden Compass,Harry Potter and more.
Many of these have since been made into films
Since the days of Charlie Chaplin,Stan Laurel,Boris Karloff,Cary Grant and Hitchcock to Michael Caine,Sean Connery,Antony Hopkins to more
recently Daniel Day Lewis, and Jude Law British actors and directors have played a pivotal role in both Hollywood and the UK film industry and 7 of the 10 most popular worldwide films of the past 5 years were based on British books including ‘Narnia’, ‘Harry Potter’,'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory’,'Lord Of The Rings’ and James Bond.

And this is not even half of what Britain has done for the world and yet Americans like to take all the credit and make out like they invented the modern world!
Nazi Germany wanted rid of anyone who was gay, jewish, dark haired and dark eyed. The British gave the world the above so I rest my case. I may not have personally had anything to do with this however I am proud of my nation knowing that almost evrerything the world does was probably British. I take it your German seeing as you agree with Nazi’s???? lol
The Big Dipper…Thanks for your opinion even if it s a foreign one. Freedom of speech yet another British tradition is a wonderful thing lol
Ever heard of Aston Martins, Rolls-Royce, Bentley etc etc You must drive a peasant wagon in your country with chickens rinnung up and down lol sorry poor boy. Why is it when I try and make a comment on why I should be proud to be British I get comments like this and defensive ones at that. I asked British people not foreigners
Ray whatever your name is my advise is to go back to school because my nation has been around much longer try thousands of years longer than yours and again I want Brits to answer this. Why on earth are there foreigners answering a Brit question???? Can’t get enough of us lol. Fuck off and go eat your fast food
a2x4dc the UK and US are not siblings whatsoever. We separated years ago and so we have nothing in common. We are both foreign to each other

  6. I don’t think so. Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, Graham Harrell, and even Zac Robinson and Chase Daniel are in my opinion clearly better quarterbacks than Tebow. So much for being called the 4th best QB in the Big 12 being “bulletin board material.”

I guess he’s just another Gator quarterback.

  7. Recently I watched astronomy video which said that the enormous gravitational effect of Jupiter can push asteroid out of the belt. My question is can gravity push? I thought it only pulls.
    Thank You.

  8. I have been looking for a Yorkie for my cousins to give to them for Christmas. Everyone was asking for an enormous amount. Now that Christmas is almost here, I’m getting desperate. Does anybody know where i can get one?

  9. What problems does China’s enormous population cause, and how has the government responded?

Short answers will do, or any for that matter (as long as there helpful!)
    :)
    thanks soo much!!

  10. One of the reasons why the participation gap between minority groups and the national averages is no longer enormous is because

    a. minorities have a group consciousness that gives them an extra incentive to vote.
    b. the education and income levels of minorities are no longer significantly lower than those of whites.
    c. large numbers of minorities are now running for important political office.
    d. education and income are no longer considered good predictors of voting behavior.
    e. minorities now outnumber whites so that there is no gap.
