Today Deep Silver announced the Game of the Year Edition of last years’ zombie slay-athon, Dead Island.
Ironically it’s a game that, while good, isn’t one many would say is their game of the year from last year. Regardless, Dead Island GOTY features all the DLC released for the game in one convenient package. If you didn’t pick this one up before, you have little excuse not to now.

About Ryder White’s Campaign
Offering a new unique perspective into the main story of Dead Island, the player will play as Ryder White, the main game’s antagonist. Ryder White’s Campaign offers players the chance to learn more about his motivations and why, from his point of view, he did what he had to do, showing him both as a military man and a loving husband in a fresh take on the Dead Island story. The campaign includes a single player story arc with several hours of gameplay as well as two blueprints and weapons to further expand the already impressive arsenal of Dead Island.

In Bloodbath Arena four different arenas offer new challenges that can be played alone or in coop mode. so i got dead island and i just reinstalled it after the patch. i played for about 20 min and then my screen goes out completely and the fan in my computer gets super loud. the largest fan that i have in my computer is the one on my nvidia GTX 460 graphics card so im guessing maybe thats the issue? i have a quad core 2.4ghz processor and 8gb of ram. any suggestions?
