Halo 4 Limited Edition Announced

today announced the Limited Edition of the upcoming blockbuster title, . While most people are used to their coming with things like Helmets and statues, 343 is keeping it simple this time around. Retailing for $100, the Limited Edition comes with what looks to be a fancy Steelbook, and a nice amount of bonuses.

Inside the package, you will find:

  • War Games (9 maps)
  • A voucher for 3 future multiplayer map packs (3 maps per pack)
  • Early access to six “Specialization” missions

Also included are a few digital bonuses:

  • Unique in-game Spartan-IV armor skin
  • Unique in-game weapon skin for the Assault Rifle
  • An exclusive in-game emblem
  • LIVE Avatar prop
  • Xbox LIVE Avatar Spartan-IV armor set
  • Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Special Edition – An extended 90-minute version of the live-action digital series that will bring the Halo universe to life as you’ve never seen it, and provide an enthralling backstory leading up to the events of Halo 4.
  • Bonus in-fiction content expanding the characters and stories of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn
  • Special Featurette: Bringing into Reality

At the age of 3, Ryan received an NES from a relative and the rest is history. Sneaking up past his bed time to play Ninja Gaiden or Super Mario Bros was a common practice for him, and often caught too. Wasting his youth away on the SNES or Genesis, slamming controllers, and wishing death upon his video game foes. Many a nights Ryan stayed awake to defeat that final boss. There was nothing more rewarding. As the PlayStation and N64 came around, his love for video games increased until it inevitably became one of his passions.     I actually thought they ended the sequel (after REACH) however after they recently announced halo 4 which is a sequel to halo 3, I was shocked. Can somebody explain the plot of the game? Is the halo rings still mentioned in the game’s story?

    I was just curious because halo 4 is a continuince of the halo 3 story. Some bungie members might’ve joined up with 343 industries.

    Im trying the order the Halo 4 Limited Edition from Amazon Uk but it is not there, however people in the US can, is it not available yet?

    All of the die hard Bungie nerds are saying their not getting Halo 4 because its like call of duty. Because Halo 4 going to have sprint without a abilitie. That would make it a lot better. Don’t people who play Halo hate Call of Duty because its the same thing over again. People are asking for the same thing in Halo 4.

    Hello i was wanting to know what too buy i already have to Xbox 360 but I’m a super halo fan and i really like the new halo 4 Xbox 360 limited edition console that was announced but the Wii U also looks nice to have what should i purchase and why thank you
    also i already have a ps3 and a Wii so no other suggestions just the two above thanks thanks.

    I pre-ordered Halo 4 back in February from Gamestop, before the limited edition was even announced. Do I automatically get upgraded to limited edition?

    I pre ordered Halo 4 in January before the pre order bonuses and limited edition were announced, will i still get the bonuses? And will i get the standard edition or the limited edition?

    1. How many former bungie employees work at 343 Industries?

    2. Does 343 industries have any relevance to 343 guilty spark in halo?

    3. Was bungie always planning to make halo 4, 5 and 6 or was that just 343 industries idea?

    4. Do you think 343i will do a good job with the new halo trilogy and halo anniversary?

    I’m a halo fanboy…..sue me but Yes I liked mw2, and cod 4, lately they’ve been getting lazy this is the first time they’ve ever advertised a bonus for one of their games…..That being said I’m skeptical about whether Zombies, which I like is worth this 60$? So they just announced their “carepackage edition” which is 180$ okay, it seems like they half assed a crossover between borderlands 2 and halo 4 limited edition and you don’t even get that much. Should I put money on a remake with slight changes or payoff halo 4′s limited edition that gets a ***** ton of stuff?

    I am a huge fan of Halo, and I understand that the game-play visuals have been updated so it looks a whole lot better, and that you can switch from the original visuals and the new updated visuals through out the campaign when ever you please, but will the cut-scenes be visually updated as well or will it be the same as when the original Halo Combat Evolved was released. This may be a stupid question but i was just wondering if 343 Industries has given that information out or not.
