Welcome back, friends and fellow True Believers! This week’s installment of The Comic Fanatic has a couple meaty morsels for you. First of all, Avengers VS X-Men #4 is now available, check out my review. It’s not a bad issue, but feels like we’re still waiting for the main event to start. Uncanny X-Men #12 and Avengers #26 are tie-ins. Pretty good, especially Uncanny X-Men. Kieron Gillen is a rather good writer, and Namor is fun (and sex-crazy). Also, Hepzibah makes a nice cameo. Although something about the way Greg Land draws faces unnerves me a bit. They look off. Read my review for the full insight.
HOWEVER, I would like to alert your attention to this: Saga #3 is now on shelves. Go get it. Now. I’ll wait. It’s the one with the red ghost looking half-girl (top half) on the front and a black background. Yes. Seriously. Yes, she’s a ghost, no she doesn’t have legs. Pick it up. I know it’s weird, that’s why you’re picking it up. Order the first two if you haven’t read them yet. You’ll thank me later.

Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples have done it again. Another issue of Saga, full of awesome (and weird). This book is awesome. I should probably elaborate a bit. The end of the second issue left our family in a rather precarious spot. Ghosts and monsters approaching, and the husband is gravely wounded. It’s then that we are introduced to Izabel, the ghost girl on the cover who looks like she’ll be a fairly main character. Which is good, she’s cool. This issue also has the return of the Robot Prince (guy with the TV head), and we learn a bit more about it. Also, The Stalk (spider lady from #2) has a cameo with The Will and The Lying Cat. It’s weird, but so good. I wish it came out more often.
This series is strange, wonderful, full of interesting and very, very different characters. The world keeps expanding and getting stranger (is it steam-punk? fantasy? sci-fi?), but Vaughn doesn’t lose sight of the story that he wants to tell, and the characters therein. It’s the mark of a good writer that you get a good feel for what a character would and wouldn’t do after only a few issues. That said, the best story in the world wouldn’t make a good comic without a good artist, and Staples is more than just good.
So go pick up Saga and Avengers VS X-Men. Good times to be had. I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Is the devil a character in the upcoming Max Payne movie? Who is the cloaked character?
I have Max Payne, and I’m trying to use cheats for it, but the websites I check say to go into properties of the desktop icon and add ” – developer” or ” – developerkeys”. I’ve tried that, but when I go to load the game, it says the target is invalid as no such save file exists. So what is the exact way of getting into the develop console? Please be very specific, e.g. [space]developer[space]-[space]keys.

I have a max payne 1,2 and i need max payne 3…so how to download max payne 3 on net?
How high is the temperature in a clothes dryer on average?? I did a search but came up with nothing helpful. My son has lice and I was curious as to whether the temperature gets hot enough to kill the nasty buggers or if I really have to wash all the clothes and bedding in hot water. I read somewhere that it has to maintain a temp of at least 130 farenheit for 20 minutes to kill them. Are dryers hotter than that?
All I really want to know is how hot the dryer gets… can anyone tell me or do I have to take it’s temperature?
I heard that The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will be cancelled and will be replaced by a new Avengers series. When will will this series be aired?

Ok maybe I’m too early with this, but I thought the movie was great.
I thought Joss Whedon did excellent job with it.
Now I’ve always considered Superman (1978) and Batman (1989) as best superhero movies, but The Avengers was also great superhero movie.

This weekend, The Avengers obliterated Harry Potter 7 Part 2′s opening record of $169.2 million to claim $200.3 million. I’m wondering if it’s worth going to see in theaters. Also, how many of you dressed up when you saw it and which Avengers character did you dress up as? I’m wondering if I should dress up to see it or if it would make it hard to hold the popcorn. Iron Man 2 was terrific. Better than the first one. Cast was great, story was great, segways into the upcoming Avengers movie were a bonus.

I really like the Iron Man and Spider Man comics, and I recently started reading them. I started with Ironman v4 and read through v5 and i started spider-man on Brand new day. I was wondering where a good place to start reading the avengers would be. Id like to start fairly far back, but not at the begging, maybe when spider-man joined up. Any suggestions?
