Universal Studios brings this Hasbro inspired movie to life this Friday. If you’re in the mood for special effects like you saw in Transformers, than Battleship should provide. With cast including Rhiana (also musician), Liam Nelson and Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights and John Carter) saving the world from sea, I hope this battleship isn’t sunk….B-7…

The Dictator
Paramount Pictures and Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G, Borat, Bruno) bring another hilariously controversial comedy to theaters this Wednesday, May, 16th, 2012. This film follows General Aladeen (Sacha Baron Cohen) the ruler of an oil-rich North African Country named Wadiya as he flee’s to America after an assassination attempt. Other members of this cast include comedic actress Anna Faris and dynamic actor Ben Kingsley.

Indie Game: The Movie
This film has a special place in my heart, not only because it is a documentary about making it in the game industry, but also because I have had the pleasure of meeting one of its stars Edmund McMillen. While I was working at GameStop, Edmund would occasionally come in and give us swag (comics, stress relief balls, stickers, etc) to give to customers to help promote his and Tommy Refenes; Super Meat Boy, as it neared its release on XBOX Live. It was one of my first experiences on the California coast and I am so excited for everyone who gets to watch this incredible film directed by Lisanne Pajot and James Swinsky, that documented their journey. It is only being release in a few cities but hopefully you can catch it near you.

How many of each does the US Navy now have? How does their fleet compare to what they had during WW II ?
I’ve heard this expression used frequently. Presumably, the answer is “a good distance” and “a significant interval of time.” But how many miles, approximately, does it take for, say, an Iowa class battleship to turn 180 degrees?
How about an aircraft carrier?
I’ve searched for “a significant amount of time” on the web, but can not locate an authoritative answer. Thanks.
I’ve been wanting to build a R/C of the Yorktown class aircraft carrier, and I found a website that sells fiberglass hulls of battleship, but I can’t find one that makes Aircraft carrier hulls. So I wanted to know what battleship hull is close to a Yorktowns hull.

I was watching Are You Smarter Than A 5th today and the answer to the question of what is the biggest land animal native to North America. I guessed it was the Kodiak bear and my daughter said she thought it was the moose. I looked up how tall the bison gets (6 feet). The moose can get up to 10 feet. Shouldn’t the moose considered to biggest?
