Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Kicking Its Way Onto Consoles This June

is releasing Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown for on June 5th for  & June 6th for .  This is great news for fighting game fans, as Virtua Fighter 5: FInal Showdown is considered to be the best version of this popular series.

This well balanced 3D Fighter clashes different styles of martial arts without the projectiles seen in most fighting titles.  This realistic approach to this fighter has helped the Virtua Fighter series develop a very loyal fan base.

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown will be available for a very affordable price ($14.99 PSN & 1,200 Microsoft Points XBLA).  This bundle will will include online match play, arcade modes, a very in depth training mode, the ability to save and upload replays, customization for it’s 19 characters via DLC (including new characters Jean Kujo & Virtua Fighter 3 sumo sensation Taka-Arashi.)   This bundle will make even the casual fighting game  fan very happy.  A cheap bundle like this is a great way to introduce new fans to a quality series, as well as satisfy the desires of veteran Virtua Fighter players.

SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON – May 14, 2012 -  SEGA® of America Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. today announced that the console release date and retail price for Virtua Fighter™ 5 Final Showdown. The stand-alone downloadable 3D fighting game is set to make its console debut on June 5 for ®Network and June 6 for LIVE® Arcade for the ® game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will be priced at $14.99/ £9.99/ AUD$18.25/ €12.99 for PSN and 1,200 Microsoft Points for XBLA.
Character customization DLC packs will be available immediately upon launch for all 19 fighters, with each character customization pack costing $4.99/ £3.59/ AUD$6.25/ €4.49 for PSN and 400 Microsoft Points for XBLA, and will contain 600-950 customization items. Two additional customization packs, consisting of nine characters’ worth of DLC items and the other with 10 characters’ worth, will also be available at launch for $14.99/ £9.99/ AUD$18.25/ €12.99 each on PSN and 1,200 Microsoft Points each on XBLA.

Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown brings the latest arcade version of the Virtua Fighter 5 series to consoles worldwide, adding two new characters—Virtua Fighter 3 favorite Taka-Arashi and newcomer Jean Kujo—and dynamic and interactive fighting arenas. Console-only features include a robust and detailed Training Mode, eight player Online Room Match Mode, and a match record feature to replay, save, and upload fights.     Hey, just bought a copy of virtua fighter 5 for the 360, and I have had some pretty cool fights I wanted to save as a replay. However I have no idea how, does anyone know? Thanks.

    Not that this is an incredibly important question, but I was just curious. Does anyone know what the Virtua Fighter characters are saying. I am talking about the Japanese translations of dialogue right before they fight. I just always wondered that….in particular Pai and Aoi. Thanks.

    Hey, I am going to be buying a PS3 in a few weeks and I was planning on buying Doctor Who Series(Season) 5 on the PSN. I am just wondering how much it is though so I can go out and buy a playstation card. I don’t really trust putting my card information on there after all of SONY’s hacking incidents!

    I am thinking about getting naruto ninja storm 2, but I’ve heard Tekken 6 is good too, I want a 3d fighting game that has a lot of running around like star wars episode 3 the video game if you ever played it, if anyone knows any other good 3d fighting game or know if I should get naruto ninja storm than please help

    Probably PS1, where an indian looking character grabs an NPC and knees him about five times and throws him aside and another character, a blonde woman fighting a ninja looking character who jumps up high and lands on him and rolls back. Can anyone tell, or suggest the name of the game?
